Monero cannot work alone, of course it depends on the market, especially the top ranked coins, namely bitcoin and ethereum, the price of $ 500 can be achieved if the ethereum price reaches at least $ 1200 or the price of bitcoin is $ 20,000.
thats mean we back to the last bull my friend, and maybeyou are right but if we talk about this year, i think monero will not touch $500, but maybe monero price will hit about $150 - $200 my friend |

privacy coins like XMR are good for protecting company secrets, freedom of speech and providing privacy and anonymity to regular users, which are the rights of every internet user. Monero always depends on the community from the beginning. These coins are made through donations and the community has always been the main factor to encourage its development. I am optimistic about Monero's development but i think it wont hit $500 this year.

Most crypto will go 10x during a bull run so Monero hitting $500 is a good possibility. It's worth hiding some xmr as it is the top privacy coin out there

Yes why not? Monero is a very wonderful project in itself being a privacy coin. And I agree with you that since mining will end once the finite number of available coins is exhausted, the value will shoot up. $500 may be a long shot but it is achievable

I do not think so. Even the current ETH and BTC are difficult to raise by $ 400. Monero won't be able to have such a big breakthrough. Unless all coins increase at the same time

I don't think anything is impossible, what happened with Crypto is certainly unexpected for the past 5 years, Monero is a coin that has proven to be good so I'm sure it can reach $ 500.

Monero is one of the highest trading altcoins and within the top 10 coin in the crypto market. But, the price prediction for this coin do accurately is not possible. Because of the highly volatile in the crypto market we can say that Monero is only a stable coin which hold its value for the long term. $500 for the Monero will not possible in this 2019 but you can expect this price is possible for the next year.

Monero gold already pumped 500$ in coinmarketcap during all altcoins pumped in 2017. Here has low prediction to pump of monero gold in 2019. If monero gold pumped to 500 USD than what will be the whole coinmarketcap value in USD in this year.

Monero is a good coin for those who want to have secure transactions and do not want to be traced. I do this when I need to get coins on the stock exchange and no one asked me where the money came from. And so it was impossible to link my account on different exchanges with each other. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I think it's better to be safe. |

There is a total availibility of 18.4 million Monero in the market, and out of that 16.7 million has already been mined, since the genesis of the cryptocurrency back in 2014. Because most alts are tied to btc pairings it's a valid point. To say whether ANY altcoins will reach X amount of $ is not the real question since it relies on bitcoin as well. Better prediction would be how many satoshis will one xmr reach in 2019, take the bitcoin price variable out of the equation. |

I even have more optimistic prediction and expectation on Monero future. If Bitcoin can hit $20000, Monero might even can hit $1000 like what Ethereum and DASH reached in 2017. Why I have such strong belief like this? Mainly because privacy and private coin has been the trend of crypto, for now, and for future, and Monero is one of leader of private coin, that's the point might lead to such high price of Monero. |

I believe that, monero is a very nice investment in my opinion. It is one of the best privacy coins that one can invest into and this is a good one. I have monero in my wallet as I believe in its potential.

If people dont know you have wealth then no one will try to steal it from you. If people dont know where you have your wealth they will rather target some one else. If people dont know how much wealth you have, they will rather not rick and target someone they know have lots of wealth. Privacy = Security. |
