Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?

I think that XMR will most likely not grow to $500 by the end of this year, but I think in the next 2-3 years its price will be able to overcome the mark of $500

Observing Monero's price movements that seemed slow, I was pessimistic until the end of this year could reach a price of USD 500. I saw an increase. As an illustration on May 16, 201, the price of Monero was at the position of USD 88, and now USD 93.

Some investors don't understand the concept of anonymity in the digital era. That's why the interest is not high to the anonym coins like Monero but XMR will find its real value in the real bull market. Current price is a garbage and bull market will make it clear for all altcoins.

I think it will depend on how much bitcoin will rise in price. Monero is one of the first cryptocurrencies on the market and the most popular due to its anonymity. If the altspring begins, it is likely that the coin will reach the value of $500.

It seems that a time of pumps are ahead of us. Something that was totally absent from cryptoverse in last year.  Stupid money is entering. So I maybe was wrong and we will actually see Monero at $500 this year.

Monero, can take advantage of current shut-downs of top mixer sites (Best Mixer, and Bit Blender) to catch new flow of users on Monero network. People whom want to increase their transaction's anonymity will switch to Monero as one of best alternatives for mixer sites. Monero, with its amazing features, can actually give good anonymous transactions. The level of anonymity will depends on the way users implement their transactions. The more carefulnes, and more technical steps they do for their transactions, the higher anonymous levels they will get back.

To those that still used Mixers, this event told that they were basically scammed. I am sure some will repeat their stupidity, others will open their eyes. Math never lies. And math clearly shows years ago that bitcoin mixers dont work.   Monero have huge use case so for its future I am not concerned. More and more people specially in business will find that. Information is highly valuable and giving them out for free with transparent ledger cryptocurrencies is a no go for any business.  

Mixers are there for different purposes depending on the real use case. Hackers usually use deep web mixers for money laundering as anonymous with the help of the Tor network and anonymous  VPN that never logs the user. Monero offers better anonymity surely but a simple mistake can ruin this faster than the blink of an eye.

LOL yes. Anonymity is wider subject then untraceable transactions.  But mixers dont give anonymity but try to make untraceable transactions same as Monero do. Difference is that mixers fail at doing so. And people that risked their lives trusting mixers will give their lives soon. Those people that organized those mixers will have to live with that in their mind.

Based on what you said , i see that you believed that all coins are connected to btc but based on my observation i can say that not all coins are following the path of btc and not all coins will always follow the path of btc  because sometimes those alts/toks can increase or decrease on thier own depending on their demand that they get from the public   .

Sometimes, there are few altcoins or tokens move upwards dramatically in very opposite movements of bitcoin; and vice versa. Such opposite rises despite of bitcoin falls come from breaking news or very important upgrades from those altcoin projects. So, in general, investors should pay their attention on two main factors:
- Bitcoin (sure)
- Each altcoin project development and its roadmap.

No, I don't think so. This sort of big increase for a high cap coin only tends to happen in conjunction with a big rise for the whole market. I think we'd need a big new ATH for bitcoin before Monero could hit $500, and I don't see the happening in the remainder of this year.

Are you crazy? $500 for Monero will made me mad, honestly. In addition, new all time high of bitcoin is very very far from now. The price of BTC has currently stood around $8000, and current all time high is nearly $19800, that is too far from $8000.

Not likely, maybe Monero could or will reach as high as $200 sometime this year, but, a price as high as $500 is more likely to maybe happen in 2020/21, in the midst of a bull run and after XMR has had enough time to gradually climb back up into a much higher price range then where it is now. In the short/med term It doesn't have the required recent, current, and awaited, sensational news, updates, and upgrades, to be able to reach that high of a mark in 2019.

On top of that, the law enforcement agencies have taken up a special interest with Monero, as it is now widely used in various dark markets for the purchase of contraband of different types.

Monero is a really good coin and a very popular and even a good platform.  but I'm not sure that even this year he will reach $ 500, which is a lot for him.  I still believe if ethereum will cost $ 500 but not Monero.

Yes, I think all altcoins are positively influenced by the recent growth of the market. But to monero can x5 values from now on is quite difficult. and I do not expect it to happen again.
Because the bubble is created and then it will break. I do not like such a market and I think we should witness its price increase slowly is better.
