Perhaps an test version could be made it might help keeping people active on hourly basis, specialy with price spiking.

To play using Coinbase Wallet (iOS, Android):

Download Coinbase Wallet from the App Store or Google Play.
Create a wallet or import your seed in Coinbase Wallet.
Open the url https://ethex.bet in the DApps tab.

How to play?

The player needs to guess the last hexadecimal numbers of Ethereum block hash, using numbers from 1 to 6. The more symbols the player has matched, the greater their prize.

In each cell, the player can choose from the list one of the following values:

A specific symbol (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F);
Any letter group (A, B, C, D, E, F);
Any number group (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9);
Any even number group (0, 2, 4, 6, ;
Any odd number group (1, 3, 5, 7, 9);
Or leave the cell blank.
Using buttons "Frequent", "Rare", "Randomly", you can select different combinations of symbols automatically.

After you have selected symbols, you should set your bet amount. The minimum amount is 0.01 ETH for each selected symbol. While you select symbols, the amount is automatically adjusting to the lower bound. You can set greater amount, but not less than 0.01 ETH x [number of selected symbols].

Once everything is ready, you should click the "Place a bet" button and confirm your Ethereum transaction which contain your bet. Wait until miners calculate the block containing your transaction and smart-contract. Grab your prize.

Also webpage says, there were 2 different seasonal Jackpots. pure BS. they did have bugged contracts back then. second monthly jackpot draw paid seasonal and guess who won? their own scripted wallet (the wallet that didnt pay 2 daily jackpots in last 10 days, it won without betting ) won first seasonal jackpot. and second seasonal jackpot (originally first one) was "hacked" by some dude who all of sudden changed its mind and came here to refund those funds. then these guys told "us" (no us, it was just me and their team back then) one wallet with less than 15% of the tickets won the seasonal jackpot and paid that wallet. I know all these because I have been playing this BS scamming platform for 4 months now. And guess what? finally I am out of funds. I had 85% of tickets for first monthly jackpot but I couldnt win it. I had 75+% of seasonal jackpot tickets and I didnt win it and finally again last months jackpot I had majority of tickets and I didnt win it. I notified everything happened at contract here, they were talking about some bug bounty and stuff to make me go away for a week but I never got reached.

I will never ever let this place moon. they literally wait for dumb money to come in to cryptoworld to scam those unlucky people. but I will not let that happen.

Yes, there was 2 daily jackpots out of 112 jackpots since the launch of the Ethex, that wasn't played automatically:

1) Daily Jackpot on block #778000 was not played. It was caused by the Ethereum Virtual Machine limitation: the smart-contract has access only to last 256 blocks (proof). The transaction with the call of method EthexJackpot.settleJackpot() by our scripted wallet was mined at block #7780537, 537 blocks after the Daily Jackpot block, so smart-contract couldn't get access to this block properties and read it's hash. This jackpot has been processed manually, as was announced here. We are aware of this limitation but actually faced it for the first time. We are researching the ability to use time-nodes of Ethereum alarm-clock to compensate this limitation in future.

2) Daily Jackpot on block #782000 was not played due to the error in our scripted wallet that supplies the gas for jackpot settlement. Error has been already fixed and this jackpot has been processed manually:

Yes, there was a vulnerability that was exploited by the hacker. Now this vulnerability is fixed. This issue has been described in details here.

also their github doesnot contain all the smartcontracts they did use. You can find it with an easy dig in etherscan but if you need faster results pm me and I will send you every contract they did use.

mathematically winning a regular 6 digit lotto is 1 in a million but that stands for 0-9 numbers. here it is much more harder because instead 10 there is 16 different possibility for a digit.
