For their rare/frequent combination, which is "Guess the last 6 symbols of the next block hash", there are 16⁶ possibilities (that's 16,777,216). With zero edge, for a 0.01 ETH bet you'd have to receive 167772.16 ETH, but you actually receive 0.128 ETH + superprize = 185.640728 ETH. Therefore the edge 1 - 185.640728 / 167772.16, and you'd multiply with 100 to find it in percentage.

If one believes that Birthday Paradox is applicable for Ethereum block hashes calculation algorithm, than you should use 0.06 instead of 0.01 in your calculation. To hit the Superprize you need to place a bet on 6 symbols, and there is a 0.01 ETH minimum for each symbol. If you not believe in Birthday Paradoc, you can calculate probability like 16^6, but the lottery history shows that any of this method doesn't make sense as the event of hitting jackpot can happen anytime. I.e. if in theory, there are 4k or 16 mln of combinations, but someone guesses the winning number on 100-th ticket, does it matter how many not-winning combinations left?

What we have done internally some time ago: we have checked equiprobability of symbols in Ethereum block hashes algorithm. Are Ethereum block hashes random enough to build gambling on it? We have scanned the Ethereum blockchain from the very first block to the very last one and calculated how many times each symbol has been met on each position of block hash. Ill leave this table here with no comments, to let you better understand how does the hashing algorithm works. It was made on block #7482000. You can decide which symbols or symbol groups (letters, numbers, odd, even) meet more often then others.

first seasonal jp was 19 eth and they acted like it got hacked. and paid their inside man. I had 80% of first seasonal jackpot tickets. and I have been playing this damn game for 6 months kiddo, u can check it both at ui and at smartcontracts.

In terms of Ethex rules "Total Jackpot Amount" means the total amount of funds that were allocated for jackpots. Simply saying it is the amount that was totally credited to the Jackpot smart-contract transactions. Kindly note, that this is not equal to Jackpot smart-contract current balance. The Total Jackpot Amount from the very beginning up to block #8100000 is about 90,419588 ETH.

The 1/4 part of it is 22,604897 ETH and it was firstly paid out as 1-st Season Jackpot at block #7560003 in amount 19.59 ETH that was available at that time and as 2-nd Season Jackpot at block #8100002 in amount 2.78 ETH that was collected on Jackpot contract after 1st season payout. This amounts differ so much because Jackpot amount is very dependable on turnover during the jackpot period.

Yes, Monthly jackpots amount are equal to 1/3 of Season Jackpot that makes 1/3 * 1/4 = 1/12 of Total Jackpot Amount. You can check it using the new Jackpot explorer or browsing Jackpot smart contracts (all versions are listed here). The thing that confused you, is the fact that Monthly and Season jackpots are drawn at different times (monthly obviously is drawn more often) and payouts amount dont match each others. Amounts for the jackpots of different time are allocated stricktly according to the logic that is written in the rulles and the smart-contract.
