because in the past 3 years that i have been seeing thousands of ICOs i have not yet seen even one that is actually doing something with the money they received. i call that scam not when they obviously scam people!

Makes sense this IEO cannot help us if the project is going to scam investors, because they have the overall supervision on the project crowdfunding, in ICO we can check how the project is being handled and promoted, but ICO can still scam a lot of people because there are too many of them and sometimes they escape our rada.

it doesn't matte what they are called. in the end when someone is asking you for money in name of investing in their project, raising fund for their crap,... they can easily scam you specially when people who are giving them money don't bother asking for results! and it is only unique to cryptocurrency world for some reason not the real world. in real world when people invest in something like a company for example, they will demand results and product from that company otherwise they will not give them their money in first place.

A new rebrand for ICO while TGE, and another name for ICO already disappeared from the market. Majority of people are thinking IEO can attract investors easily but basically if they are taking an example from ico that launched on binance and binance is the main point that makes their names being bigger.

How exactly they are same? And how come IEOs are worst? IEO promises guaranteed exchange listing where IEO is held, just that makes IEOs better than ICOs.

it will last for a very long long time, as long as there is some profit included many people will always stand in line to join in ICO STO IEO or what will come next.
because people will always think If they're not willing to risk the unusual, they will have to settle for the ordinary.

i don't think so. in fact this way of crowdfunding is illegal in most countries and on top if it many of them specifically banned ICOs which will include any alternative names they choose.
besides i don't think government can do anything about these things.

I agree with you, we have seen how easy to detect, fraud ICO, we have already a long list in the scam section, and many more adding almost daily with IEO they do not know if the exchange has done a good investigation, and it could also ruin the exchange reputation.

There is a market because there is a big demand, people want profit to be it short term or long term and we have seen how in the past how investors made a lot of money investing in ICO but ICO is very much different now compare today.

ICO can not easily be destroyed just as decentralized cryptocurrency can't be easily destroyed. If you have compelling projects, people will stillbe part of it.

 The bear is partly to blame for the current difficulty in raising funds and the market is a bit saturated.

I see IEO as a good solution for avoiding scam projects. Bittrex has already cancelled it`s first IEO with RAID as they
were not ensured that it is in the best interest of their customers. I agree, that exchanges are centralized but why we still
could not invent a decentralized control process  for ICOs.  Until that happens, anything is better than having nothing
and being scammed. And we already have good performing IEOs under  Binances` supervision.

Yes, they all look alike, but their names are different. These coin offerings continue until the fault is found, then replaced by another. IEOs have also become a trend because of profitability. And when it can not provide profit anymore, it will end.

that bold part is in my opinion the biggest problem with the cryptocurrency market!

people have been programmed to want profit and care about nothing else because of their greed and that has opened up a lot of manipulation in the market and a lot of fraud.
the worst part is the result of all this, which is currently keeping the "technology" from advancing. we are stuck in a loop repeating the same projects by copying the same crap with a new name and then pump it to the moon and people are happy about it!

Don't forget the elimination of possible scam which were very common in ICOs.
I will pitch with IEO anytime.
