I have met various personalities and few of them guided me on how to win in gambling. Those guys told me that "If you have got a winning mindset with no negativity in your mind, you are about to start a journey where you will see higher chances of winning over losing."
Is it like meditation where you must focus on your goal and make yourself prepared for the game before starting to play it? I had good experiences till now while following this strategy. It doesn't mean I never lose but chances of winning are really high.

Sorry to say but positive/winning mindset wont affect the result. I do believe all gamblers always start with that mindset, it will be insane if gamblers starts to gamble with negative/losing mindset. Most gamblers are willing to win on gambling, but still the result will be based on their own luck not on their mindset.
Sometime we may get the opposite result with our mindset. Lets say, I'm very sure that I'll win today but in fact I lost all of my money in few minutes. On other day, I started with a bit worry of losing but in fact I got a big win.
For me, our mindset can be used to help us to control ourselves while gambling only but it wont give us a better luck.

Law of attraction is really popular now, there are lots of videos on youtube talking about it. Many think its complete BS but its better to look at things with an open mind and no one can really say for sure how the universe works and if there are external forces making things happen.

I think having a winning mindset cannot help you win in gambling because you still ended up losing in gambling. What are the reasons that having a winning mindset will give you luck to win in gambling? In my own opinion, having a winning mindset will help us to have luck to win in gambling because you are thinking positive that even there will have a times that you will lose in your other bets, you still stay positive that you will not lose all of your money in gambling. But you should still need to have a self control in gambling because even you have a winning mindset it will still end up to greed, that is why you should have a limitations in every winnings that you will receive in gambling. |

I agree on what @ellen adarna said . positive thinking really attracts luck . that is what the elders said and that is what i also read on the qoutes online . thats why i kept on believing on it . there is no harm in believing anyways , so why not think positive all the time ? And besides having a positive mindset can also make you feel happy and stress free even if you are loosing the game .

Well i think whether you focus or not, dice results would have nothing to do with whatever your rituals are. It's as random as it'll be. Though it may have an effect on how you react to situations and have a more controlled decision making if you're feeling positive all the time. Let's face it, frustration sometimes dull your logic. |

I often play with kinda conservative approach if I have a certain target which I have to reach. Usually I mix up my strategies and start betting with low stakes instead of high. Net result is always positive in such way.
I also avoid playing for long in such instances.

Only lead to a path in winning but not actually winning the game, having a positive/winning mindset is not really have an affect. All gamblers before they gamble has already that mindset but gambling content only a piece of pure luck, not the mindset. However, having a positive mindset will contribute to increasing your chances of winning. When you've reached a negative mindset or being greedy to chase a lose, much better you stop or have a break and come back again in another day. |

Gambling is based on pure luck. It is good to be positive and think only of good things (good for your health) but it won't increase your chances of winning.
A winning mindset doesn't mean to consider only the possibility of winning but to think of losing and being mentally prepared for it.

I personally think confidence in your plays and moves is as powerful or more powerful than being in a winning mindset IMO. With most things in life, including in betting and gambling, having confidence in an action is a great thing to have and much better than being pessimistic or unsure in an action. There's obviously no guarantees in gambling and even having confidence in a move won't guarantee you'll ever get what you want in gambling or in real life, but it definitely helps out to some degree in skill-based games.

Well by that confidence you should be able to get what you want with anything if you have winning mindset.
If you believe in this then you shall also believe you can have any job you want or if you choose to be a ladies man you can have that.
Someone who wants to increase his bench 50 pounds can have a winning mindset and achieve the same results as the gambler.

With that mindset, gamblers will be more focus on analyzing strategies that will make their winning chances high. It's not that they will always win, the main point here is, being negative will just lead into worries, regrets, inability to think good etc. It won't create a better ideas that will lead into losses. Why do gambling if they will become negative and will not focus on the reason why they gamble? That's why having a winning mindset is sort of a good habit everytime we gambled. |

This same line of thinking is like saying something along the lines of "If I think hard enough, I'll win" That's (sadly) not how statistics work, and you're not just going to be able to beat statistics with a dream and some praying. Sorry, but that's not how the world works.
Maybe for a little while you'll get 'lucky' though I can assure you that over a long period of time it doesn't matter on your emotions you're going to end up losing to the house edge. Sorry, but gambling isn't your friend. INVEST!

You are just lucky and that meditation only help you to calm yourself while playing.For sure there would really be times that you do lose even how hard you do focus your mind and setting up with that winning mindset. It doesnt just work that way, you can only say that its effective yet you are still winning so far but dont expect too much that it would last yet not all days we are lucky. |

I agree.Having a winning mindset can help you to have more chances of winning but this does not happen all the time.You might be lucky for a while but later on,it won't be the same again.Gambling is still all about pure chances and luck.Meditation is not that effective for gambling.At the end of the day,you will still have more chances of losing than winning. |

The mindset of everyone is different when comes to gambling someone entered into this field for entertainment but most of us are entered into for money making the problem is in the pressure of money making so winning mindset will always been difficult to handle the situation if it was not right so I think it will be a big problem also.
