Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling?

I have met various personalities and few of them guided me on how to win in gambling. Those guys told me that "If you have got a winning mindset with no negativity in your mind, you are about to start a journey where you will see higher chances of winning over losing."

Is it like meditation where you must focus on your goal and make yourself prepared for the game before starting to play it? I had good experiences till now while following this strategy. It doesn't mean I never lose but chances of winning are really high.

If you have clear mind and winning mindset before gambling it will actually stay away from huge losses and getting addicted to it.

Yes, you will 'see' but you have no assurance that you can win most of the time because of that kind of mindset.

It will help you to cheer up most of the time and will give you the urge to continue. I have a winning mindset but when it is too much, you should also be aware that being too optimistic isn't good.

Winning mindset is really a necessity when gambling because good mood always helps them to be comfortable and take the right actions while bad mood only leads to the worst results but as you say, it is just helping us mentally and psychologically, the results will be as good as we imagined or not, it is still unpredictable, so it is impossible to maintain a positive thought too high in gambling, sometimes this positive can make us lose more than ever before, until we can stop, everything will be too late

Yes, It doesnt help with the results of each bet but it really helps in our decision making specially during those times when we are already winning,. having a clear mindset will have a great effect in limiting our greediness when playing.

I agree on you. I have experienced this also and all i can say is that not all the time a winning mindset can help you. Though it can give you bigger chances in winning but still in the end, you can only win if you are lucky that time. Gambling is really more luck.

I strongly believe a winning mindset or positive thinking only motivates you to keeping gambling either after a win or a loss. How many will bet while thinking they are going to lose? It is very difficult to believe this unless it is scientifically proven. It may work for others but I see it as a mere coincidence but not a factor for winnings.

Kinda agree. Just recently, I was pissed off and went to play dice, went out of my safe bet zone and lost all bank roll. Positive mind helps with clear thinking and prevents you from unnecessary risks.

I agree with you, because if we have no desire to win in gambling then how could we win in it. Our desire and dreams courage us to come-true our dreams and you can called it mindset. So same here in gambling we need to set our mind and then definitely we will try to win in gambling.

I think everything is gambling is determined by your experience and probability. I do not see LUCK playing any role. Many people do not even believe in LUCK in the first place which makes it a lame concept for many. A random event could not be regarded as luck or many people do. Having said that, a winning mindset backed by experience could be instrumental in helping you win.

Your desire and dream cant change the result of your gambling, even worst winning desire or winning mindset will lead you into overconfidence and will lead you to make more and more bets while you are losing it again and again. Dont even rely on your mindset as it will be your own worst enemy if you keep on thinking that you will win. Stick to your plan and limit, the result will be always based on your own luck instead of your mindset.

True, the winning mindset can even encourage us to play again and again because we have confidence that we will eventually win our game. The winning mindset must be balanced with the ability to see the fact we've met during our games. If we force ourselves to win, the results can be the opposite.

I read this a lot and I think they did not know what skill-based gambling is. It is true that luck is also required in that game since you have no control over the cards or things that will happen but that is where your skill comes, well, it is the reason why it is called skill-based. If we will be talking about positive thoughts, it can help as long as you know what you are doing. If you are gambling, thinking that you will win a lot of money before you go out of that casino or gambling place, and you don't know what you are doing that will not help you.
