Have you ever had the experience to recover your losses fully?
NOTE: This thread is not for those small recoverable amounts like 0.01 or 0.1 BTC types, but those big 1, 2, 5, 10 and even 100 BTC losses and some miraculous stories where any of you managed to win them back.
Of course this thought has passed my mind many times. However, I cannot find the way of recovering the money I have lost. It is so hard to do it by continuing to gamble. I have thought that I have to invest in something but still this has the risk of creating more losses.

Must be a story and suitable for Hollywood blockbusters but most probably never could be an experience as far as I have seen what most gamblers are sharing about their run with casinos. I mean recovering big amount of money from casino might be possible for hero but definitely not happening for an average Joe turned gambler. You might be trying to stir up hopes among gamblers who are all got convinced by the discussions like " house always win" and " money is not everything in gambling". But, I am afraid that your topic may lead to another round of losses for some gamblers here who may try 'one more time' after reading some "happy ending" stories.

My lose is 16.67% so far this year.
I am keeping a record of the money I deposit and withdraw from the betting sites. I mostly bet in Cricket and Tennis by the way.
I think I need to assure you something here which is even though I am in lose but I never chase my loses. I bet for fun not to make money. Hope it make sense.

My biggest loss before was about $400 and i don’t try to chases that losses because there’s a chance to lose more so in short i was not lucky that time and its a big amount of money for me. Well, its ok at least I was able to recover it over time, slowly but surely with a help of cryptocurrency now that I’ve learn a lot i will not gamble much just like before.

You will end up with bigger losses if you try to recover losses dude, because the psychology of people who want to recover is too sensitive, when they get bigger losses, they will do stupid things by using more money to gamble and end up bankrupt.

I second that, our mind can't function well if we will still continue. It's stressed out of the losses plus thinking to recover will make it worst. Just pass on that and call it a day. Yet sometimes it's hard for us to accept it thus our eagerness will make us more broke.

Yeah, it's better to not too often for play gamble because we have more chance to use the money for another thing. It's very difficult to recover the losses even for the pro gamblers because the recovery process will take a long time and we have a chance to get more losses than to win.

I think anyone who would have that big loss the OP mentioned had it because they did not obey the pre-set loss limit, that person was probably greedy or in need of quick wealth and such habit is not healthy for any gambler and it is much advisable to quit. I don’t try to recover loses when I play gamble; I do it as a form of entertainment. There are times I win and times I lose. I just move on.

iam currently about 0.05 btc in profit. But you have to stopp gambling after a huge win to manage profits. In the end you will always lose when you gamble again and again.

Unfortunately not. Although for me it's not good to think of it but sometimes I still dream of recovering all my losses since 2014. I guess most gambler also want that to happen and still hoping for it but hell it was really hard to do. Luck always siding in the house for most of the time.

It is really hard and its much better to forget about it rather than forcing yourself to chase it up.This would result into more trouble if you keep pushing to recover your loss anytime you do gamble. Luck do always matter and you should put up on your mind that you should not force up things which arent controllable.Better to play for entertainment since this is the thing why gambling is created.

Exactly.Trying to recover all your losses since from day 1 might be too hard to happen so never think of chasing all your losses and instead, enjoy your time in gambling.Even how hard you try to win back all of them as long as your not lucky that day, then you will not be able to do it sucessfully. So better to gamble only for an entertainment and not for other reason.

But some don't think this way, they've become greedy when they win big, thinking that they will win more if they continue but unfortunately things turn the other way. The odds will make you lose more.

Even if someone did that would not be a factor to make that someone stop.In fact there have been so many cases in which people have recovered their lost money and thought that they are good at gambling.
Once they started to think like that they gamble again and this is an infinite loop which makes you lose money in the long run so even if you recover do not deceive yourself.

I've managed to recover a 5 BTC loss in the past, but that was back when Bitcoin wasn't worth as much as it is today. I was playing slots on a website that had this progressive jackpot in their slot game, I was placing 0.005 BTC bets to try and get that jackpot.
In the end, I lost around 5 BTC and decided to call it quits for the day. Then the next day, I came back for one last try, with something like 0.02 BTC left and I hit the progressive jackpot on the first roll.
Won me a cool 20 BTC and that was also the last time I ever played on that particular website. Chasing jackpots like that is really a recipe for getting addicted to gambling...

I have a big-time gambler friend who manages to recover his previous losses but only to lose it again the next day, it's a vicious cycle you will lose a big amount in two successive nights, recover it in one night and only to lose a much bigger amount again, this never ends until you have nothing left.

This you can tell to those who are addicted gambler, who even when recover their loss they will still play, like me had more then 9 btc in loss through dice gambling and casino but after taking some break I started with bustabit game and sports gambling I recovered my loss slowly in sports gambling and bustabit And within 6 months I have recovered my !loss and now I have taken small profits. Now I only play those Gamez which are safe and not betting high only with small profits. If you play like business then surely can recover it

One of the baddest habit of any gambler is to chase the loss . Don't worry about the losses just focus on having a good time and if you are talking about big money like 1,2,3 or even 100 BTC , I don't like those who bet that amount .

Tactlessly i couldn't recovered my losses back in 2018 September, 18th which involved 2.3BTC placed on gambling. Remembering this incident makes me regret all my deeds and what i put the family through. Haven lost 1BTC on 17th of the same month, attempt to get back the 1BTC on 18th of the same month lead to a total lose of 2.3BTC. Never aim for your losses in gamble.
