I think anyone who would have that big loss the OP mentioned had it because they did not obey the pre-set loss limit, that person was probably greedy or in need of quick wealth and such habit is not healthy for any gambler and it is much advisable to quit. I don’t try to recover loses when I play gamble; I do it as a form of entertainment. There are times I win and times I lose. I just move on.

Its not easy for them to quit as you see they are spnding huge amount for betting and in this means addiction is what they are now,letting your self to lose 1-100 bitcoin is not a simple gambling problem

But you’re basically truthful in your opinions,and your mentality in gambling is admirable as you treating gambling for a entertainment,and letting it go after winning or even losing is a best attitude to treat gambling

I have not really kept the profits in my pocket really so I think we can consider every time I play its a loss. The fact is sometimes I do lose a bit and next day I do make that back but in the end I lose it again, like multiple times. I have been gambling for so long now that I can't even remember how many times I did recovered a loss, I have probably recovered my losses hundreds of times, the point is not if I can recover it or not, sometimes I can't recover it and sometimes I can recover it but in the end I know for a fact that I will lose them all anyway.

It won't be that easy to just getting your money back and leaving, if you lose money but somehow make it back you continue gambling believing you are "on a roll" and that will make sure you lose them all again.

As far i remember i never did it and during gambling i never bothered to lost because i do realize that is the risk of gambling and if i lost i was never thinking and pushing myself to recover my previous lost because usually after lost i will decide to stop gambling on that day and will back again tomorrow if i have money

You never bothered to lose in gambling ? Do you win every time you gamble? If that is so, you should write in detail about it.
I believe that gambling is only a way of making money for those who can win either by experience or luck or strategy.

There are other ways of making money as well and you can also try to compensate your losses in those businesses unlike in gambling where if you loose, it’s gone.

Tactlessly i couldn't recovered my losses back in 2018 September, 18th which involved 2.3BTC placed on gambling. Remembering this incident makes me regret all my deeds and what i put the family through. Haven lost 1BTC on 17th of the same month, attempt to get back the 1BTC on 18th of the same month lead to a total lose of 2.3BTC. Never aim for your losses in gamble.

Gambling is like a huge dig where if you throw something, you would never find it out. Whosoever have lost anything i.e. money, assets, cars and houses and so on can never retrieve the assets back. It is a fatal game that eats up all your belongings and valuables. People start it aiming to earn money and see how badly they get them affected. So start living a good life and leave this gambling.

Most of the time I faced more losses than what I supposed to lose before doing recovering in this process so my suggestion is that don't try to recover your money from gambling either it is small amount or big amount since everything will cause us to be in loss based on probability.

At least you have recovered unlike the other gamblers that until now, they keep on chasing their losses. If it's hard for you to recover the whole amount, you should be happy at the current amount that you were able to recover.

Well, i also lose big money in gambling but i was not able to recover it in the same way, i mean i have some of my investment that will work for me and by this my losses will be back to my wallet. I think its really good to have more source of income, it can really help.

But be aware because it is not easy to recovering the loss, most of the time when we try to recover the loss in gambling then gambling give us more losses, even out of range. I wonder how long you've been involved in gambling, so you spend more than 5 bitcoin. I think you can recover your losses if you have a good time and good luck especially if you have many times to play gambling. It's better to recover little by little than to try to recover the losses in some period because we don't know how long we can win.

Damn that was a lot of money to lose in gambling. But I'm glad to hear that you at least recovered some, me? I just played with dust amounts in online gambling. But land base casinos? I'm in a 3 game losing skid, but that's ok, not that big amounts to lose though, I can sleep over it and can recover in just 1 day if lady luck strike on me.

I ever recover big bet, but not in online games this was happened in traditional casino, where I had been down almost 3000$ playing roulette, it was the day where my luck not on my side and the greed also control me, I try the martingale technique on the game and keep on losing, and my mind keep on telling me to bet one more and one more, after losing huge amount, I take some time to calm down and back to the casino, and I was able to recover my lost, but my greed make me lose even worse, I thought my luck finally on my side and bet recklessly, in the end I lost 4000$

When the lose come, it's better to take a break for a second, just don't continue gambling directly because your head is not in a good situation and you will rage bet.

somehow, if you try to recover the bigger losses you will get. you will have the desire to win and profit and that will make you play irregularly and actually make you lose more. maybe most people experience this, resulting in greater losses when try to recovering

I do. I have a fun experience in sportsbet last year. I really wanted to gamble that day and I deposited .005 btc. At first the bets are going crazy, I won almost double the deposited btc .00921 I think. But, I all in-ed the money and lost to a cleaveland game. And, by that, I didn't lose hope. I managed to deposit another .005 btc. And I forgot if it was a football game? And the odds that I put my bet onto was 5.32 odd and the enemy was 1.2 something. I am happy you have successfully recovered some but ill advice you learn to start playing for fun and try to abort the motive of going on the journey to recover all so as you might not end up losing all the ones you have earned or the ones you’ve been able to recover so far. I thinks that is what we call GAMBLING right? If you want to recover your 5btc, you have to gamble again. To recover your loses is to gamble more but if don't enough money to gamble stop risking your money. Better do a real job to earn.

It really is miraculous and but compulsive gambler will bet everything he has just to get back what he previously lost, but this is very risky and can be considered suicidal because you are betting everything you have to get what you previously lost, I do not have that experience or has a friend who has done it.

I hope this has happened you to learn a lesson that playing for fun is better but just in case only for money if you have played and lost it better not to go behind it or else you would end up losing that as well. Same thing has happened with you as well.

To be honest, I think I'm not a talented gambler. I never receive any profit from gambling activities except free-roll on freebitco.in 

Since I always lose all of my money, I no longer use real money to play. Yesterday, I played in Bitvest using free tokens. I got 1300 tokens from 100 (faucet) tokens. But in the end, it went to zero.

Bitvest now has its own token for gamblers too? What is the name and where can it be traded? Guess the owners of the company have started a blockchain gambling ?
