I watched with my wife. very nice documentary. Hope someday it will be on tv.
just wait 1-2 years Nice docu by the way. I have to say it is a much watch for all bitcoin enthusiast. I also watched this doc with my girlfriend. She doesn't use BTC, but she knows about it because I have used it for awhile. She liked the movie, and it actually gave her a better idea of how the whole system works. Setting it on a screen while hearing it explained is much better for visual learners than just hearing about it by word of mouth.

I watched it, (paid for it, no torrent btw)...
I thought it was pretty interesting. Mostly I knew most of the information but still a good show.
Watching Karpeles was the most interesting part for me. The way he just sort of smirked in front of the Japanese press after "losing" 850,000 bitcoins was nuts.
Also the interview with Satoshi was cool.

Interview with satoshi? You mean the real Satoshi Nakamoto? lol who was he? That fat french guy? Pretty sure he's referring to Newsweek Satoshi, not Karpeles. The interview excerpts from when Newsweek doxed Dorian Nakamoto, and they ended that bit when the real Satoshi posted on his account on his P2P page:

You could watch it online for free and donate an equivalent amount of Bitcoin to the producers.

Karpeles' voice did not match his face. I hadn't heard him talk until seeing this documentary. I was a little surprised when he opened his mouth.

So, is it worth the 4 bucks or so that it costs to rent? It will probably be free pretty soon.

Yeah, it is. It's a lot more entertaining than movies I've seen at the theater for $12.

Had the pleasure of attending a private showing of this film hosted by the Cryptocurrency Standards Association (CRYPSA). I will definitely watch it again. If anyone is in the New York City area next week they are having another showing of the film on November 5th with complimentary refreshments.
