i have received such an email too, and i almost give them my ethereum to receive my bounty coins, but before i send it i do calculate my stakes for the second and third times. the number of coins which i received are appropiate with the number of stakes that i earned. so i decide to put that email away, and make confirmation statement to bounty group. scammers will do or offer everything that seems profitable for us, just make research and valid confirmation.

Any suspicious email messages we received that has to do with sites or phising sites may lead to scam. This strategy by the scammers is already known and they just upgrade what they are doing to scam people. We received email messages because we often use our email address for joining airdrops, bounty campaigns and other campaigns that has to do with our emails. So we should not visit the sites given from scammers or else our account could be hacked.

Everyone that joins ICOs, bounties or airdrops might recently be receiving some emails purported to be from a project administrators informing you of that your earlier contact of the support has been escalated and you need to be a certain sum of bitcoin or ethereum in order to abade the problem otherwise, you lose your investment or earnings.

It is a scam. Beware!!!

Every investment that requiring ETH or BTC to be sent to the address other than the official one, are an obvious scam.
Another thing to do is we can confirm that the email is really from the team or not.
The email phishing method is quite effective targeting peoples with minimal communication to the project team.

I am not opening any messages on email, Telegram and Twitter. I open only link from the trusted sources. Be aware, every link that you open could be infected by a virus and could steal your keys.

Yes its an old trick that still works till date ,the most dangerous ones now is backlogger malware and phishings ,you have to thread carefully in crypto space or you will lose all you've worked for
There are so many tactics these scammers use from time to time, and I sometimes suspect these hackers to be among some of these projects we are participating in because I wonder how a scammer can easily spot me out to have wanted to hack into my crypto mail, to the extent of trying to hack my local exchange account.

We really need to be very care in this crypto space and make sure all our coins are always in a wallet and probably get a hard ware, for my keys, I have decided not to keep them online, what I did was to print all my keys out in a paper, keep one copy of it in my bank safe and another copy of it in my personal safe, let’s see the hacker that will go to my back or come to my house to break my safe.

Only a noob who will believe that trap. I think that method will not work for bounty players.
The important thing iswe don't need to believe 100 percent of all the offers or information. Always be careful and double check all information.

What I the content, I usually do when I get that type of mail is to ignore the link, after paying attention to the content, I go directly to the team of the project to confirm the authenticity of the mail and whatever I am doing, I also go directly to their website without having to follow any link or sending anything to an address that is not well recognized.

I remember a project that I participated sometimes ago and requested some certain Eth to unlock my bonus which I usually don’t see any sense in that, despite the fact that I got the announcement through their direct site while trying to perform the transaction, I had to ensure hoe genuine the information was by making more vigorous enquiries.

In every sector their will be scammers even in real lif, so we just have to life by that reality and be aware on that signs that you are being scammed. For instance I was almost scammed in by someone who claims to be for some exchange when I asked help from their telegram group because the ETH that I deposited has not been confirmed. So they scammers said that they will fix it as long as I send them more ETH, and they are asking more than 2 times of my deposit. I quickly knew it is as scam as the problem can be fixed internally by real customer service and devs of the exchange.

Of course people commit fraud with words that are easy to believe, and don't look fraudulent. Then you don't send them money if you don't know or not in your investment.

Of course, it is a scam. Who falls for that?

There are way harder to understand scams. This one is like "hello i want to scam you, can you give me your money".

Grin Grin Grin Maybe the person who wants to scams says honestly? "Hello, I want to scam you, can you send me money". Grin
If there is such a thing, don't be afraid to send money to them. Because they will return your money at an unspecified time. Huh

Scammers are around us and you have to do your best not to allow them to earn on you. I usually know all methods of scammers and avoid them and help my mates to avoid hackers as well

Well, if anyone makes us to send some coins in certain time limit, then we must consider it as a scammer.
Pressure and fear created from such will causing the victim to have short thinking, and not noticing they being scammed.

Scammers extract emails from spreadsheets when let lose, then spam mails to victimize the gullible.  A friend's wallet was hacked when she used wrong MEW URL provided by scanners via this means to sign message using her private key. Guys, let's be very careful and security conscious in crypto, bad guys are everywhere.

yes, for e-mail, I often get it and it happens because our e-mails have been scattered, possibly spread due to following the bounty on this forum and it turns out that the e-mail, spreadsheet is not encrypted and people can take the e-mail as an ingredient to try to scam

It is written scam all over it. People asking for money for giving you a bigger amount of money? Well, that looks so genuine, doesn’t it?  People have many ways to scam other poor innocent people in this cruel crypto world, and this is just one of those methods. But if anyone falls for this, then it’s their own fault. It has scam written right on the face.

Absolutely agree with you that it is their fault because they have the ability to check the project and investigate it before putting money into it, but so many people just put money out of believe and out of random pick with hope it will turn out big. Many people are no longer baby in this industry again, and by now, they should already understand that scammers will go any length to steal from them, and that is also why they also need to go to any length to make sure that they do not steal from them.

People also need to always keep themselves informed too before making investment, that is why I love this forum, there will always be one or two sharp people to detect scam projects easily and then warn is fellow mates before they also fall into such scam project.
