Can you post more detailed information regarding the update?

1) Are users able to generate invoices in order to receive payments over the Lightning Network or their wallets can be used only for spending coins?

2) Are users restricted from connecting to any other LN node than yours?

This is good news. The more wallets supporting lightning network, the better. Good for adoption.

Bitpie is getting better and I have seen constant updates. However I find this wallet somehow hard to use, as it has too many confused functions. Like integrated exchange and a relationship with bither which I didn't understand very well.

We don't have confusing functions. Integrated exchange is just a way to provide safe and convenient exchange access for our existing users. It's not so much good as he top exchanges though, it indeed provide one more option for our users.
The relationship with bither is not confusing, first of all, bitpie is developed by the bither team. Comparing with bither, Bitpie has some speacialties:
