Hello, I am helping to settle the Estate of my brother TommyBitcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=802035
Tommy was an avid Bitcoin fan and aficionado, early crypto-currency adopter, and collector of physical coin. May his soul RIP. He was doing what he loved to do best right up until the end- his last active status was a few minutes before he passed.
I have one of his 2013 Casascius 1 BTC for sale. minerjones has agreed to be the distributor/escrow for this sale.
I have his other Casascius, Lealana, BTCC, Cryptolator, Titan, and Sol Noctis coins which I will put up for sale eventually. But for now, to start off with I am offering the one coin listed in the subject.
Interested buyers should contact me with offers at my hashmap77 Gmail address located in my profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1899861.
And I thank you for your consideration.
Here are photos of the item:

1) Sorry for your loss. 2) Not intended to sound crass, but can you prove your relationship or ownership of the coin in question? Scams are very prevalent here, so promptly proving otherwise goes a long way toward building trust. Simple name and date handwritten next to the coin is a start. 3) Idea of what price you expect for the coin? Seeking BTC or USD?

Again sorry for your loss, drove up to his neck of the woods one day but we ending up not meeting up. Talked over the phone a bunch and he was genuinely a cool guy. This is definately the right place to sell them, hopefully it will help out a little. Will be on the lookout for some of the other coins you have as well.

1. Thanks. 2. No biggie. I think somebody (wheelz1200 or minerjones) recommended that to me and I forgot to do it. I will post that in a separate posting after this. 3. Yes, I forgot to say, BTC preferred so that it'll make it easier for minerjones to confirm that buyer sent me payment.

OPs first post states WTS, not Auction, as well as to make an offer.

I came up with an even better (at least seemingly to me) method to "prove your relationship or ownership of the coin" as dazedfool suggested, but for some reason the image posting in bitcointalk has suddenly stopped working for me. Not sure why, as I was posting images from Imgur with no problems before today. Anyway, I have to go do something for a few hours will try to get back and post something later today.

dazedfool, after I read your post and thought about it some more, I was scratching my head on what information (other than name and date that you suggested) that I could provide that prove "relationship or ownership of the coin," and I am having a hard time coming up with something definitive. It seems that the only thing that would really prove it would be for me to show you the coin in person. The next best thing -- once I ship to minerjones that he states to you or whoever wants "proof", that he received the coin. Another thing I thought of was that if I took a picture as I compose this post reply and hold up the coin, maybe that proves something. Though again, seeing the coin in person or minerjones vouching seems the best to me. So here's the picture of me posting this reply and holding up the coin in front of my screen... @krogothmanhattan- I am still new in a sense to bitcointalk, though I have been reading the forum for a few months to try to understand the conventions of discourse here. Does what I did in my previous post satisfy what you would consider as proof?

Um. Ok, but isn't it too late for this? I mean, if I had done that in the original post, maybe that would have some validity. But now that the image of the collectible is in my first post in this thread couldn't anybody, me included, just take that image and photoshop a "paper with username and date scribbled" next to or on top of the image? I don't mean to be obtuse or oppositional, but I must be missing something. I am just not seeing how that would validate my claim of ownership. But sure, I can do this (hmm now Imgur inline images are suddenly showing for this post. go figure):

I applied a few filters, but even with just some change in contrast there and a close-up look at the paper and shadows etc. there is no sign whatsoever for photo manipulation. Of course, this still doesn't mean that this sale couldn't be still malicious, but I would be very very certain, that the coin is indeed in the possession of hashmap. Just my 101 satoshis, since I couldn't help myself. Click image for high resolution.
