Tradingview: Karate Monkey Indicators

Hello guys, i would like to invite you to give my indicators on tradingview a try

first one is a really easy to use based on simple moving averages, it can been find as "super karate monkey swinging on the beach" it works in all timeframes but i really love it for swingtrading

and second one is a paid one, but its open for all to try for the next couple weeks (if you are too late, you can always send me a PM for 2 week trial period)
it has a lot of elements, actually i first created it for my personal use reflecting my trading method, it has a bit of everything price action, trend analysis, fibs, bands, sma´s, risk management, on crypto and major forex has an average success rate of 75%, it can work with any timeframe, but due to volume/price range diferences some specific TFs might work better with specific pairs so is recomended to review a few previous trades to see if that tf is the right one, still doing some backtest on stocks, in general it works really well

Its not bad to try on using up technical analysis but as said it would be better if we do just simply hold on what we do possess and risking
only the amount we can afford to lose.Day trading might sounds easy specially to newbies but if you are already on the situation you would really
able to find out that this is the fastest way on burning your money.

Basing it on the example you have given on why this indicator wouldn't work is how it's too late to jump off before the indicator even picks it up. The way I see it is when the indicator is in the water (blue) prices will start to go down while when it is on the sand (brown) prices will rise, but as you can see prices have already dropped just as it went to the water giving no time for its users to have an exit plan beforehand. Another thing is why this indicator wouldn't work is you can see clearly that prices are still rising even though its in the water area which for a swing trader is a very important thing to be picked off.

Also, this guy really seems to know what he's doing and I think he has a lot of experience (in forex as well).

The OP has like paid and premium membership, but I don't know if this for newbies to join though. I mean obviously being a newbie, they should really learn how to make their own TA and not just subscribe to someone, Why not they just give them their trading money and let those offering services do the trade for them? 

I have nothing against the offer of the OP, but for me its not the way for newbie trader, just saying.

come on, i dont have such a thin skin, everone knows this forum is a tough crowd, of course i expected to be roasted, but the point its as i said invite people to give it a try, i open the access every few months for the full month so people can try by themselves for a good period of time and make their own opinion. so i dont care for the negative comments as long as people become aware there is an indicator they might want to try.

as for the fake accounts, yeah right... i would make an incredible positive review by saying that i havent actually use the indicator... i know... genius right?

i dont have fake accounts, (if i did, there would be 20 or 30 positive reviews by now) but i did what i guess everybody does, add an update on the indicator´s page asking to check this thread and leave a comment if posible.... does that guarantee ill get positive reviews... i would hope so, but i might get no comments at all or even worst, maybe someone didnt like it and will trash me.

yeah thats the point, its a free indicator and i mentioned on the first post, its easy to use and simple, i created it since the paid one seemed too complicated and after talking with some guys on the fb chats was suggested to make a very easy to use indicator, its not the most amazing but
it works better than expected and thats why im inviting folks to give it a try.

yeah its a lagging indicator, but thats good, i rather react to price movements than trying to guess it using those magical indicators than seems to be right 100% of the time just to dissapoint you once you figure out the heavy repainting
also people should know indicators are a tool to help your TA and not the TA by itself, actually on the instruccions i recommend the use of oscilators to support the signals from paid the indicator

im not trying to sell you guys lies, if you check the vids, you can see all the backtests are doing to the day of their publication (and no casually on december 2017), and showing everytime a stop loss is hit... maybe newbies are easily impresed by 100% accuracy claims, but someone with a bit of experience knows there will be some failed trades

thats why there is a free trial period, so people can actually try it and decide if is something that might work for them

Did you guys actually try the indicators, both of them? And did you watch his instructional videos? Because imo, if you do that and also give it a little time and see for yourself, you should see potential. I was skeptical too at first and expected absolutely nothing, but i was very positively surprised.

Imo you should use the beach indicator as a directional anchor indicator and the death crossing indicator for timing entries (and exits, if you want). You could take it that when the beach indicator is bearish, you only take bearish entry signals from the death crossing indicator and vice versa.

As for the entry signals in the death crossing indicator, you could use the death cross as the entry or the MA to change colour or both of them, whatever suits you. I find that often the MA colour change is enough to provide a good entry as long as its in the direction indicated by the beach indicator.

I like using these indicators on the 1 hour timeframe for the most part, but they work on others as well.

For alerts on the MA colour change, use the CM_DI_plus_minus indicator, set and alert for the indicator to cross itself and that will usually signal for the MA colour change (sometimes it will be grey instead, in which case ignore it).




Use the price range tool in your tradingview and see what you think. Are you guys seriously telling me you dont see why this is a good indicator? Im genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts.

Also look at his instructional videos, they should give you further perspective on the use cases on the death crossing indicator.

I honestly have no idea who they are, i posted on the tradingview page about this thread, also send some messages to people i  know use the indicator, if someone made an account just to post here... i think its very cool because they must really like the indicators or really appreciate me
Anyway im not familiar with the admin panel for this forum script, but my guess is that if you (anyone) think im cheating, ypu can always ask a mod/admin to do an ip check of the accounts you think are fake, actually i would appreciate if they use whatever tool they have at their dissposal to review this matter

Sure thing, Johnny Palermo! Your first post ever is shilling this guy's paid indicator. Seems legit!

Stick with reliable and free indicators, guys. Volume, OBV, pivots, candlestick analysis, moving averages, Bollinger bands, Ichimoku cloud. Don't bother paying for "Karate Monkey" because I can tell you without even testing it, it's not worth it.

just to point 1 of them is free, the other was on 1 month open trial when posted (now its 2 weeks) , so no need to pay for anything people try and dont like

but i guess you are right, people should not bother to try new things....
