It is literally a way people could enhance their technological shortages. There is a lot of digital improvements in the world but a blockchain could take that higher in a single second. You can literally have a database that is both private as much as you want, fast and cheap with all the data stored there from the power of people who literally use it.

Instead of trusting a banks data servers you literally share that load between all the users, think of it as all banks customers carry the data of that bank on their pockets wherever they go. This was just an example for the banks by the way, it makes gambling better, it makes games better, it makes IT services better and many more things. So, blockchain is not just something we can consider as improvement for technology but as a whole to our lives.
