Wow. A helpful and good idea na tumulong sa mga tao gamit ang sariling pera. Nakakainis talaga na ikaw na nga mismo tumulong ikaw pa yung gawing masama. Nasa OP nga na nasa tao ang desisyon if tutulong o hindi.

Since it's a charity then my suggestion to the charity website is to provide your information for the donators to contact you and may suggestion din ako na gumamit din kayo ng ibang service tumanggap ng pera like paypal, charity bank account, and more services. Para din sa charity na maging known is to have an advertisement of the charity but first need to have funds to do these things and i'm sure the charity will be a success and helped other people when in need of help. I can relate what you guys are trying to do because I donated/shared my blessing before by donating food, bags, my old clothes and other things to those who need help especially indigenous people and victims of calamity.

Get in touch with Stake.com they have weekly community voting for different charity that will get $1,000 USD in donation. Maybe this charity program can join the voting and im sure everyone will support the idea.

Maybe I'll just leave it to the supporters of these Charity. For in my case, I would never do such thing, to request or enforce anybody to be a sponsor for this activity. If someone would like to share this activity to STAKE or any random companies then I would be thankful.

For now, I've been busy doing my things IRL, so All I can do now is wake this thread up everytime it gets dumped with new threads. I may have some future plans and activities for this group, just stay tuned and be well. Moneys are being kept safe by our best escrow here in this forum.

Hey there guys, bumping this thread. I just had a sudden realization on how lucky we are knowledgeable in some ways to discover this forum and to make money from it. It's a blessing to have, and I'm thankful for it.

So let's talk about a real problem that is currently happening for years now in the Philippines. Probably there are a lot of people who have seen this issue or may have done something, and I think it's time we could make a difference in some way. Christmas time is fast approaching, and I'm suggesting this to help the fellow Filipinos who need urgent help.

Let's talk about first what Rice Tariffication and what it has done to the Philippines

The Rice Tariffication Law titled “An Act liberalizing the importation, exportation, and trading of rice, lifting for the purpose the quantitative import restriction on rice, and for other purposes”

Basically, it's for the Philippines to comply with the international commitment with WTO (World Trade Organization) and target the possible problems that could happen in the future (Rice Shortage, Expensive Rice, etc.) [1]

Positive effects of this Law are

• Lower Price for Consumers
• Addressing the Rice Shortage
• Lower inflation Rates
• Supporting Rice farmers (they could export it to the world market, more possible consumers from another country)

This Negative Effect is what I want everyone to focus on, as the Bitcointalk Community, and evaluate what we could do.

• No Assurance / Safety net for Filipino Farmers
• More importation

There are more to this list, and it's all in this article

So knowing some part of it, what's the Big Problem that we are talking about?

• The possible Over Supply could negatively impact the Local Farmers and it has [2]
• Farmers are getting poorer and poorer

As a Bitcointalk Member and being a concerned citizen of the Earth. We wouldn't want other people to suffer. What could we do?

There are a couple of things to support the Filipino Farmers[3]

• Buy Locally (Wet markets, Online Markets that sell local products, etc.)
• Don't be a cheapskate when buying (Practice fair trade)
• Support Restaurants that use locally grown produce
• Volunteer or Donate

I think the last part is the most applicable right now for us and how we could use the funds that we have collected. (Thank you to those who donated)

There are a couple of organizations that could accept donations towards improving the quality of life of the Filipino Farmers.[3]

With all listed above, I could try to contact them on how the process would go and how it could help the farmers.

Matagal na ako nag iisip kung ano yung pwedeng sunod na activity for the Bitcointalk Charity and to my realizations, the farmers really need our help. Kahit anong support, kung hindi man makapag volunteer or bumili locally, the best is still to donate. Para at least, kahit papano makatulong at alam natin na 'to talaga ay para sa mga nangangailangan.

Oks naman paps wala masyadong pagbabago sa funds, and of this thread, yung sa Services na lang ang inaupdate ko. Medyo mahina kasi loob ko at mahina din talaga resistensya ko kaya matutulog muna yung funds until matapos ang case ng Covid.
