I downloaded the official electrum android wallet and select the import wallet from recovery seed from the given option but on the next window I can't be able to write the recovey seed but when I copy past it still there is no next button option available.
All I can do is create read only mode of my existing desktop wallet on android.
That means that the SEED that you've copied is invalid, it's either your seed wasn't created by Electrum (
was it an imported BIP39 SEED?) or there's a typo.
If if is a BIP39 SEED, you need to import the Master Private key of your Desktop Electrum because Android version doesn't have an option to enable checksum for BIP39 SEEDs.
You can get the master private key from the desktop wallet by typing:
wallet.keystore.get_master_private_key('ENTER-YOUR-PASSPHRASE')
to Electrum's console tab (
View->Show Console).
Take note that by doing this, your passphrase will be logged to electrum's log which can be accessed by a hacker if your system is vulnerable.
Alternatively, (
must be offline) you can create a temporary no passphrase wallet using the same seed and open it using a text editor like notepad;
Then search (
CTRL+F) for
xprv or zprv in the search box, that's your master private key.
After copying, delete the temporary wallet.
