When there is more access to play poker on trusted gambling websites, what's the need to go over tor. If you're looking to be anonymous, the same is being supported by more gambling sites.

You miss what Tor is about. It is not about anonymity towards the site, but more towards your government or other institutions that might analyze your traffic.

Take a step back and look at the big picture.

I would be very hesitant to use TOR when gambling or playing poker.
This is a easy way for the casino to think you are cheating and a reason for them to hold your funds.

I'm whatever aspect you take into the consideration, the final need is to be anonymous. The market and the goodness through tor is big, as you said if traffic is the issue it can be deviated through the usage of VPN services.

I think it's better to use existing poker bitcoin that is available than to using Tor. I don't know if it is available, but it might exist.

I respect my privacy and never leave TOR. That is why.

We all respect and love our privacy and I think it's enough to use VPN to play gambling. I see many of us using a VPN too, we can choose free VPN or paid VPN, and you can find the best VPN you can use. Maybe you can search with the search engine.

Listen the bottom line is I never make a mistake or at least try not to. I always think of ever last thing and lets just say my bitcoins are dirty and now I take them off the TOR network. What if some agency can follow my trail and not I am on some VPN service that will sell me out for a free or a few bucks and I am deanonymized. I was only looking to play a card game with some crypto enthusiasts that value privacy like me. I figured this may be the place to go for that. I also wanted to see what the deal was with this forum after I read Rosss out look fo the place. And I didn't get the greatest welcome here being hated on and tried to write me off as a scam with bad security because some people were trying to puss another website on people when all I was looking for was 10 guys to have a game friday.

Why the hack is everyone talking about TOR here when OP asked for something else? There are threads specifically opened for TOR discussions and if there arent you can anytime create one, if you are so interested in sharing opinions about it.
You should try some of this bitcoin gambling websites : Betonline,Betcoin, 1Xbit or Tigergaming(wich seems to be an old poker website now also accepting bitcoin). I dont know for sure what website is the best because i dont play poker.

Awesome thank you for the tips. I will try those and see if I can play any from TOR. The reason it is being brought up was because I wanted to play a poker game through TOR and the reason why we made darkpoker.bet. If you are interested in playing we lowered the limits and offering a free $5 to a tusted member of this forum. All we are trying to do is get a fun game started.

I know your intention was only to create a new website where you could play poker with other people, while also protecting your privacy by using TOR but your conditions for joing the tournment were to high and everyone was afraid to give money to a complete stranger. Will take a look at your website and maybe give it a try when i have some free time.

This is a easy way for the casino to think you are cheating and a reason for them to hold your funds.

Actually, you do have a point, but on the other hand, I also use VPNs every now and then, and login from quite a few public IPs from time to time on the gambling sites I frequent and have not once been frozen or thought to be cheating.

Frankly speaking, I think casinos have more sophisticated ways to flag accounts for suspicious behaviour and not simply because TOR nodes are used. There are other patterns linked to cheaters other than just plain IP.

I think if sites are prepared to accept Bitcoin, they must be prepared to accept users who treasure their privacy. These typically use browsers like TOR.

I think it's better to play at a trusted site who doesn't use TOR. There are a lot of good games that are available in casino gambling site that doesn't need TOR to be played with.

His main idea is to play poker game on a site where he can use TOR because of privacy, not looking for site that can be played without TOR. Imho most gambling site against TOR because of their privacy policy, it will be hard to find site that can be played through TOR. It is a bit complicated situation, he want to be anonymous through TOR but most gambling sites are not allowing user to use TOR.

Thats nice to hear and you have been very fortunate this far.
Some sites will pull the "tor card" as a way to not have to pay.
You sound like you have a good process down so I hope it continues to work out for you.

I've used VPNs for most of my crypto casino accounts in the past as well with no problems related to account freezing due to suspicious activity or anything of the sort. Should not be a problem for most people, and with a good casino that doesn't have negative DT rep on these forums or a million scam reports, you should not have any issues with a casino permanently freezing your funds etc. If you ever do experience an issue like this, though, making some noise in the Scam Accusations section and on social media/Reddit when the casino's a bigger and more reputable one generally means you'll get your money back as well.

We might not have understood his question when he was referring to playing poker using TOR. He might be referring to a .onion gambling website that he can play using Bitcoin. In which case I don't know any .onion gambling website or none that I can recommend for now as I myself haven't played on them because I don't see the need to do so. Additionally keep in mind that you are trying to find a gambling website in the deep web chances are a lot of them are just there to scam people.

The government is very difficult to be a problem for some sites, but Bitcoin will always be a secret or anonymous because in the first concept it is inheritance, the government will not worry too much about analyzing each path, but privacy must be kept free because out there is free.

Yep you are right. We need the choice to be free. These other people are really all jokes. I haven't left TOR in multiple years. They come here telling me I don't know what TOR is and I should use incognito mode LMFAO.. What kind of horrible disinformation are the people here feeding other people on this forum.

If anyone wants to play a poker game OVER TOR we will be holding on on Friday. Also the limits are lowered. We 10c/30c game because we didn't realize that asking to play 1/2 was too much.
