Bitrefill to top-up your phone and buy gift cards. As VPNs, you have both NordVPN and ProtonVPN. For retailers, you have Overstock.

Appreciated the OP list, but I still curious that do you make sure that all those sites are well-known, reliable and safe to use?
Are there sites play as third-parties that rank or leave remarks on those sites or on bitcoin-accepted sites?

It will make your list become more reliable, more convincing if you can show readers available third party sites.
Something like each crypto project can say "my project/ our project is the best one, it's unique, innovative, and bring amazing things for customers, that have ever existed", but it does not make sense. Everyone can say or defend their projects.
However, if there is a third party site like coinmarketcap and it has public ranking criteria and algorithm, the rank of projects on CMC makes lot of sense.

I'm not sure what you're saying here because it sounds like you're gonna uphold merchants to ICO's starndards... but both are different things entirely. Besides, as far as I know there isn't a "Coinmarketcap" for all merchants. Well, and yes, it's not like I went on the darknet and pulled out some shady-looking websites or the ones that just look straighforward spammy. I double checked and they all seemed fine.

However, third party service (like CoinMap and similar) for people who WANT to be extra sure and cross reference everything before buying is a good idea (though for smaller purhases it just looks like unnecessary bother, as opposed to ICO and bigger investments, for example). Anyway, let me make the list and update the post. It could be useful to newbies in this section.

To be clear, I don't blame you for saying this, lol.

It was actually a good idea. I wish there was actually a Coinmarketcap for merchants, and one that's popular enough to list all relevant merchants (physical and online). Maybe someday someone will make one... and it won't be a kind of directory where you pay money if you want to get promoted and/or listed...

A very recent and potentially important one in terms of reputation and sales (although on a Swiss scale with potential extension to Germany): Largest Swiss Online Retailer Digitec Galaxus Now Accepts Crypto -> https://www.galaxus.ch/en.

I’ve given it a go to see how the crypto (BTC and others) procedure is implemented, and reported it on the above referenced thread.

Online Shopping:
http://pizzaforcoins.com/ - famous pizza for btc
I actually tried to click the Bitcoin for Pizza site but I became dramatic because of the interface. Stated there was "Thanks for the Fun Ride!" technically, they stopped operating their project and we all know what is the possible reason why. It breaks my heart seeing these kinds of statements because I know that their enthusiasm and passion is being killed but they still keep on believing in it.

In our country(Philippines) there's still an active third-party the online payment platform company who allow consumers to have a payment online shop and accept Bitcoin as payment.

Newegg should be listed as primarily for North America IMO- though there are options to ship internationally on the site, these options are pretty limited at the moment (link to countries Newegg ships to). Also note you are only able to purchase from Newegg themselves on the site and you cannot buy items from third-parties with cryptocurrency at this moment.

I live in the USA and I've never had problems with the site otherwise, free shipping from them is via USPS Parcel Select usually and can be a bit slow but things are otherwise reasonable with pricing. I've used them for over $1000 in purchases over the last year, never had any major problems and the site support's very quick to solve any problems you might have.

Around 10 years ago they didn't accept any foreign credit cards (not even shipping to an USA address). i'm not sure what would they do if they take bitcoin, maybe some KYC procedure and then deny it solely on your country of origin?

It is a really good idea to build up a new start-up, right?
Let's see next months, next years who will make it.
It is totally different than coinmarketcap.com, but can get started with fundamental things coinmarketcap.com built up for their site.

Yeah, my only worry is it's simply not profitable enough to bother. Like, speculation on shitcoins and crypto trading in general are pretty popular, so services like coinmarketcap gets their proper share simply from ads. But list of merchants, well... probably not much visits. But maybe it'll change someday in the future, once BTC payments become REAL popular. Who knows.

I actually tried to click the Bitcoin for Pizza site but I became dramatic because of the interface. Stated there was "Thanks for the Fun Ride!" technically, they stopped operating their project and we all know what is the possible reason why.

Oh you're right! Sad. I didn't realize they were unoperational.

I am highly aware of gadgets, accessories, clothes, and even hames being paid online via Bitcoin. But what I am more curious to see is if there are any popular food companies selling their food with BTC payments. Because it seems like its the only industry being left out as I haven't seen any restos do so. So are there any food chains offering up their food in exchange for BTC? At least in the US I know it's possible chances are this is already happening for small establishments.

Expedia removed bitcoin option long ago and I think it still the case. There are the following sites that can be added to your list

- NameSilo: to buy domain names
- Vultr: web hosting
- Cashcard: to buy gift cards
- APMEX: to buy gold and silver
- BitGild: to buy gold and silver
- Eurolines: to buy tickets to travel by bus in Europe

Apart from Starbucks which had planned to accept Bitcoin( through a partnership with Bakk?), nope, no large companies or franchises at least. Probably individual companies. What I would like to see is a supermarket

Newegg doesn't ask for KYC for purchases AFAIK from my experiences. Things went as fiat orders do on the site when I paid with BTC, though they do process payments through Bitpay last time I checked and I did have to convert those pesky payment URLs into a regular address and amount. 10 years is a pretty long time though, and considering the site does now offer shipping internationally I would assume they now accept international credit cards.

I've been using bitcoin for payment with very few stores.

Thanks for the list OP, I'm getting interested of booking my vacation and pay bitcoin with that. I assume that you're the owner of olympianbitcoin.store, I checked those hats and majority of it are very cool!
