I personally invested in ETH because I think it is one of the most promising coins. You can also invest in LTC, and in Bitcoin I personally haven't invested for a long time
I guess it will be no loss to diversify your money among the some reliable cryptos. Why are you getting old with only one of the opportunities in the opportunity market? Try to take advantage of the others. |

I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.
I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?

Well, if you aim for a massive profit or ROI, Altcoins have so much better potential rather than Bitcoin / Ethereum. It's like impossible for BTC / ETH to reach 100% profit (x2), while it's so much possible for Altcoins.

Well your decision to get both Ethereum and Bitcoin are good but if you want to do altcoin, then it will be better you do the research yourself finding which altcoin is good, you don't have to rely on anyone. If you find a good altcoin to invest in, be rest assured you will make good profit.

I would say split your deposit into much more parts. Investing only in ETH and BTC can be stable, but you are missing the opportunity of getting profit from the best altcoins that are raising far more quickly than such giants.

@OP, every user will suggest their favorite coin/token for invest. But you should choose by yourself. My suggestion is look deeply on market, and choose few potential coin/token. Then look more deeply which coin not yet recover. Those coin not yet well recover that coin you should hold. For example RVN is now all time high. If you buy RVN then obviously you will loss your fund. Thats why you need observe market deeply. Don't follow which coin suggested by others. Research yourself, because its your money so this is your risk.

agree, Litecoin does have a pretty good movement so it is suitable for trade and the rest we can put our money on BTC or ETH for long-term investment. besides Lite coin there are actually some good coins for trading as long as we want to examine them. |

in my experience it has never been a good idea to go long in any altcoin which is why i have never "invested" in any of them. i always stick to bitcoin when it comes to long term and then continue treating altcoins as short term potential trading tools to make a quick profit during their pumps and then selling them before their dumps begin. that way i guarantee my profit while reducing the risks and also increasing my bitcoin wealth.
I do consider ethereum a good alt for long term. It's just another option apart from bitcoin to me. Others can be kept for short term. |
