You forgot to mention one very important point here.
They have 2 months time for Brexit only if UK parliament finally approve agreement between UK and EU by April 12th.
If they fail to do it than by May 22th they have to decide to go out from EU without any agreement (hard Brexit) or stay longer and join election for a new EU parliament.
It's really funny to see UK, example of long tradition of democracy in such miserable state.

I think that not just voters but also politicians didn't have any idea what may happen with Brexit, all this confusion and chaos now.
But, it seems that Prime minster and other politicians are not ready to confess that they made huge mistake with this referendum for Brexit and they just trying to find a way to finish Brexit, not to start over with new Referendum about Brexit.
It's funny to watch them now and their discussions in the parliament.

15 years are in business a lot of time, countless companies, experts and industries will relocate to europe as they said 1000 billion in financial assets to europe moving from uk to the EU, the UK becomes effectively some kind of ukraine in the atlantic.

It pains me to write this as a UK citizen but:

We're a bunch of self-entitled wankers that have our heads stuck in a 1500's time-warp. But you can't fully blame us.

Our leaders tout their bullshit to us as if somehow we're the only people that matter in this whole thing. We sit there and argue amongst ourselves like a bunch of spoilt children and have forgotten there's a whole wide world out there. The worst I've seen of it, was the older people that had emigrated to Spain and elsewhere mostly wanted Brexit, yet had somehow forgotten it was the EU that allowed them to live in Spain. It's a small concession for a fucked up world we're going to live in. There have been no action plans, no clauses, no nothing. It's been recklessly handled and passed to the public as if they fully understand what they are doing.
