CORRECTION:
In a previous reply (just updated), we mentioned that we will have our project whitelisted prior to the launch of our initial token sale.
Yesterday, we have met with the regulators in France (AMF, L'Autorité des marchés financiers). We were informed that the law that prescribe for this whitelisting is being delayed in the legislature. Realistically, whitelisting will become possible only after the summer. We have not decided definitively whether to postpone our ICO.
Other elements of our previous answer stand unchanged. In particular, we will launch a demo platform prior to our ICO.

Hello, how can I use your token?
Thanks for your question. As mentioned, the token (IFX) has 4 functions. Let's run them one by one: - Discount: if you hold IFX on your account on IdeaFeX and choose to pay your trading fees in IFX, you'll receive a discount. Unlike the Binance Coin, with which the discount will disappear after a few years, with IFX discount will not be eliminated.
- Referral: you just refer your friends to join IdeaFeX. When they start actively using IdeaFeX and use IFX to pay their fees, you'll receive a referral award on your account automatically. You don't need to do anything.
- Staking: when you are raising funds on IdeaFeX, you can stake some IFX for your listing; under some constraints, this will improve your search ranking.
- Fundraising bonus: when you are raising funds on IdeaFeX, and you decide to accept IFX exclusively, we'll offer even further discounts on your fees.

What are you going to tokenize on your platform?
Hi, We're open to several general classes of assets. They're referred to as Exotic Assets, Product Futures, and Traditional Securities. In our Token White Paper, you can see that we currently identify the following assets: - Exotic Assets: Collectibles, Business Assets, Infrastructure, Real Estate
- Product Futures: Inventory, Valuable Goods
- Traditional Securities: Shares, Bonds
For more details, please refer to the Features Deep Dive section of the white paper. Excuse me-I do not quite understand. How are you going to place assets-for example, the same securities ? Or collectibles? Are you going to keep them or what do you imagine?Do you have secure vaults? Hello, Here's how we're going to organize this: - Exotic assets (including collectibles) usually require custodians with third-party audits
- This is different from securities, which do not require custodians
- We don't keep any real-world assets ourselves
- We're in talk with reputable auditing and custody service providers to form partnerships in order to offer our users the best deals
It's important to re-emphasize: we don't issue asset tokens; we're a marketplace that allows fundraisers to tokenize their assets and sell asset tokens. Hope this is clearer.

What discounts do you have at early stages?
Hello, For fees (that apply both for fundraisers and investors / traders), there will be a 40% discount in fees in the first year after our full launch, 30% discount in the second year, 20% in the third year, and 10% beyond the third year. For fundraisers who accept IFX exclusively, there will be an additional discount in their fees in the second year of 12.5%, the third year 25%, and beyond the fourth year 50%. For our ICO, each IFX will be priced at 0.1 EUR at the beginning. After each 10% of the hard cap is sold, the price increases by 0.01 EUR. That is, the last 10% of the tokens will be sold at 0.19 EUR each. Hope this answers your question.

There has been a question asking about how to participate in our ICO. I have been busy and was not able to answer timely; it has since been removed for some reason. Still, this is an important question, so I am giving the answer as follows:
Indeed, we have not yet launched our ICO site. We will make a formal announcement once it goes live. There will be a delay of one month before our ICO begins.
Just to keep in mind that our ICO will require KYC. Interested investors can already submit their KYC information during this one month delay so as to ensure they can participate early.
This ICO site will carry over and become our marketplace as we launch. This means investors don't need to do KYC again to use our exchange and marketplace later.
We will accept a basket of cryptocurrencies. The investor who has passed the KYC can choose which cryptocurrency s/he wants to use (multiple is possible, too). Tokens will be distributed after our ICO ends with the shortest delay possible.

Who are your team members?
Hi, You can find the list of our team member here: https://www.ideafex.com/teamAt the moment, we are not using ICO advisers, as we find it easier to talk directly to regulators. We would like to build a group of regional representatives. It will be of priority after our ICO and as we approach the launch of our marketplace.

We would like to build a group of regional representatives. It will be of priority after our ICO and as we approach the launch of our marketplace. What benefits will regional representatives get? We hope to incentivize representatives with our own tokens (IdeaFeX Token / IFX). Regional promoters can give referral codes to participants of local events and earn referral awards. We also want to allocate some funds for them to organize local meetups. At the moment, we still haven't been funded (and we haven't launched our ICO). Therefore, these remain plans for the near future.

Hi, we'll keep developing the marketplace and try to sell more tokens once we launch towards the end of the year.

Why are you doing ICO not ipo?
Short answer: we're not at the point where IPO would make sense. Long answer: We see ICO as a means to build community while raising venture funding. IPO, on the other hand, is frequently used for initial investors, particularly VCs, to exit. Moreover, IPO can be overwhelmingly lengthy and expensive. It certainly is not suitable for us. If you meant STO, please refer to the ICO series published by our CEO, Dr Jiulin Teng, for our view on the tradeoffs: https://medium.com/@IdeaFeX/ico-more-important-than-ever-cb9502aa582dhttps://medium.com/@IdeaFeX/ico-the-danger-of-over-regulation-ce454c5ebc49https://medium.com/@IdeaFeX/ico-scams-highlight-issues-beyond-crypto-28db801062c2The last article is forthcoming. It will focus on the community-building mechanisms that is truly innovative and unique in ICOs.

The market is not good yet, are you going to try to rase funds in such conditions?
Hi, Yes, because it's not only the cryptomarket at the time of our token sale that needs to be taken into account; we also consider two other factors: - The time it takes for us to fully develop and deploy the marketplace, and where the cryptomarket will be then?
- Could others build similar marketplaces and set up strong entry barriers?
As mentioned before, we have a clear plan to lead our marketplace to profitability. We think the tradeoff is worth it. Moreover, we also expect once the market is good there will be thousands of ICOs with huge marketing budgets. We don't have this luxury. In fact, if we had millions, we would put that into development, not marketing.
