[For Beginners] How to get access on your wallet on new MyEtherwallet new Layout

How make transaction with new MyEtherwallet layout:
To make a transaction

First- We need to click on "Access my wallet" after going to myetherwallet.




Second- Click on Software if you are using "private key, keystore file or Mnemonic phrase" or click on Metamask if you are using "Metamask".




Third- After clicking on software you will see three  box which are for " private key, keystore pr mnemonic phrase". Click on the box which you're using. In this case I'm showing with using private key. After clicking the chosen box click on"Continue"..




Fourth- After choosing access by private key. The private key inserting box will popup then you have to insert your private key into the box and click on "Access Wallet"...Booyah!! You have accessed your wallet and you're into the wallet Now make a Transaction

No. Don't do this. It even says in a big red box on half of your pictures that this is bad advice. Saving your private key in plaintext on your computer and then copy-pasting it in to a live webpage is a sure fire way to have all your coins stolen. The same goes for your mnemonic seed. A password protect keystore file is marginally better, but not by much, and is still very poor in terms of security.

There is no excuse for not installing and using MetaMask or their app MEWconnect since both are free, but preferably you should be using a hardware wallet.

You're right but I wrote for noob/beginners who do not knows and  understand metamask or mewconnect. This method is needed for the person who has account before launch of mewconnect /the new layout cause they have to access it. And many people don't understand the new layout of mew. And this is the cause of making this post

Why you didn't active that Data & Gas Limit ? This is make your fee to send tokens is cheapest than send manual.
Before i send token in MyEtherWallet, i always setting transaction fee to Economy.

I second what o_e_l_e_o said. Private key should not be used as copy paste, not at least in a web wallet because malware can access your private key and this way, a hacking attempt can steal your fund easily.

For any individual who cannot afford Hardware wallet can as well be able to use the old Myetherwallet layout method to access their coins without any risk of be hack as this give an option for the use of public key and not solely with private key.

this could work well. The new Myether layout actually does not seem to me as a good option but still prefer the old method. Although, i currently use the hardware wallet to store my coins and to make them safe. Instead of putting all coins to risk; by the use of web wallet, is better to purchase Hardware wallet.

All the more reason to not give out dangerous advice, since newbies and beginners are unlikely to understand just how bad an idea it is to store your private key or mnemonic phrase on an electronic device. It only takes 10 minutes to install and learn how to use MetaMask or MEWconnect (or Electrum, or Wasabi, or learning about hardware wallets, etc) - this is absolutely the bare minimum of diligence a newbie should be doing before purchasing coins. If someone doesn't understand, then the advice should be to take time to learn, not to expose themselves to losing all their coins though terrible security practices.

I do agree with youa that the old layout is better than the new layout in which the old layout is very easy to use or to interact with it but we should accept that the myetherwallet had new layout that is used. My question is about your statement in the quote above, Is it possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet?. My thought of how it is possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet is that you have downloaded myetherwallet website before for offline mode since myetherwallet said that you can use myetherwallet offline. Am I correct? If not, can you show how to use the old layout of myetherwallet since there is no date shown in the image provided.

Yes, is possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet, which am currently using because of my dislike of the new layout. Absolutely NO!, you don't need to download before use it. Barely looking at the shared image, you could see the URL of myetherwallet, which was your sole responsibility to check out instead of asking for the date on the image. Above is the shared website URL for visibility because that of the image shared could not be see by you.
