Patience is really necessary and it is the key to success in trading but patience is not always true, as you say, many people succeed and earn money when they are patient in 2017, but some people also lost when they did the same in 2018. I think patience alone will not make us trade successfully but we should also have a good and proper analytical thinking in trading which will aide us to be profitable. Because you can see the trend of RVN, I was hold it and just sold almost in 20% profit. But I didn't wait even volume was increasing, I just missed my own logic. I had enough patience really. But who know RVN will touch 1400+ satoshi but I sold it 450 satoshi only. That's why I am realising patience is the main key if success on trading platform.

There is no problem with having only 20% profit from your investment. You just did what you have understand about your investment and nothing is wrong about your decision.

If you have Patience in yourself, then you are really lucky as patience is most required in bitcoin trading. Most of the time , our portfolio goes down and we have to wait few weeks or in some cases months, for the coins to recover. If you do not show patience , you will only end up selling the coins in the loss.

Holding for long term investment is not bad as long as you bought at dip and make sure the coin you buy have potential too. I'm also more on Fundamentals ,once I see the potential of their project, I'm just gonna buy and hold. Maybe for 3 to 4 years. Sounds very challenging to me.

That is the gist of how you make money by holding the coins you own. Dip is very important from that point of view. The wise people say that you cannot make money if you do not make a margin for profit during your initial investment. Good time can come anytime, it takes time but when market moves good time will come, price never remain the same, as in 2016 it was down but those who become patient and hold got the rewards for holding in 2017 because price was really good in 2017, now in 2018 price was not higher but those who are holding will be able to sell again at high price, 2019 will bring good profit for us.

Yup Patience surely is one of the main factors of success on trading platforms but it is not the only single requirement. In fact, everything is not as simple as it seems. You can not select only one quality or one truth that will make of you a successful trader. Being a successful trader is a permanent work on yourself: mastering new useful knowledge, working on the psychological aspects of your personality, practice and much more. Only the totality of this will bring you success. And if you just wait patiently, then for a longer period of time your result will be bad. Patience is appropriate only in the situation when you set a goal and patiently wait for the position to be sold at the intended price (only if there are no unexpected shocks on the market, otherwise you need to quickly make a decision about a possible change of plan).
