Once BTC bounced on the 5.500 € line in February 2018, it took it 10 months to break the support line and collapse even further. I think that this new 3.000 € line would be even harder to break. In that case the time would be enough for the general feeling to turn around and start being optimistic and bullish.

BTC and ETH (together making up a 60% of the market cap) have, for 1,5 month now, a slight but steady uptrend movement. Unlike those steap bouncing up correction movements.

I am this side of opinion, we are all hoping with that significant increase by this year at least it will happen on Q3 or Q4. But yet we don't know the market movement, rather sit in a side and patiently wait what will happen next. Many people having different technical analysis regarding this but no one knows the exact answer. Then, maybe not maybe yes id there is new spring come.

I won't say about bull now because I'm yet to see it. In 2017, we could see a bull move from January when price hit $700/800. From there , it was no dull move down to 2018 January before the crash. So for now, we are just seeing fluctuations from $3,900 and 4,000, very good for a buy.

Honestly, I feel confused and can't guess which direction the market will move so I just choose the bottom option on your vote. Current market conditions are very difficult to guess and sometimes it always gives us a surprise as happened recently with the price of bitcoin.

No, not by a long shot. I just checked the price and it seems we are < $4k for the first after enjoy a stable $4'ish in the last week or so. It's really hard to tell at his point of the bad days are over. In the last massive drop, it's because of the war on BCH and BSV, but I don't think we can see some epic events in the future, however, we haven't seen or heard any positive news as well that can push the price and start a bull cycle.

From what I see today, I still not sure that the bear market will over because it seems, the bitcoin price and altcoin price still up and down in any time in every day. Personally I will say the coast is  not clear yet for another bullish runs for now the price will continue with its stability status for now, however any positive fundamental news in the future is the only needed signal that will triggers the bullish runs, the price having been battling to break the resistance at $3800+ for a while now will only hit the zone and retrace back and forth and no technical analysis had forecast any upward movement but more of speculations going round the cryptosphere.

Bearish isn't over, in fact until now we still see some pressure still going on here and there, the rise of new crypto has had a negative impact, and the drop in bitcoin prices has caused the market to react, but only on selling. So this has resulted in increasingly uncertain market conditions. Yes, that a good indication, at least we are not seeing the price going down below $3600 at this point. It went slightly below $4000 if I'm not mistaken, but we quickly regain it and we are back above that price once again. Might be a sign that the bears is really exhausted at this point and there are no one thinking of selling their precious bitcoin. But we should give at least at the end of the year, or at least the last quarter of the year to see where we are, specially before the much anticipated block halving next year. So it's going to be exciting, might be a slow grind but let the market flow organically and see where it goes before the end of the year.

we are stagnant in this area of $4000, it does not rise much and it does not fall much and this becomes very complicated to predict, if the price falls, it can fall a lot, but if it rises it could reach the  $4250 and that would be very good. But if we look at another angle we can realize that if the price remained at   $4000 and with that little volatility, it would be very good to use as a means of payments and many banks and governments would look bitcoin with good eyes

Normally on topics like this I say "not sure can't tell" because literally can't tell whats gonna happen next. However, this market has been stable for so long that I feel like the option "the market will stabilize" is already happening for months now.

I know it moves a bit up and bit down but its not a major change, like 3800-4100 and between those numbers so we can't really call them any changes so we can safely assume market has been stable for a while now, it hasn't moved too much in any direction. That is why I feel like that option could be an easy choice, not because I can see the future but because that has happened for a long time now and unless something major happens that will probably be the result for a long time as well.

We need something major to take us out of that stable levels.

For the sake of our investment, I would buy into the idea of us needing something major that will pull us out of this current price into an upward movement of price but for the sake of holding it as digital assets one can rely on and also store same way people store up gold, bitcoin stabilizing is not really an enemy.

In fact this is what we need for bitcoin to really gain the trust of people who would rather use the system for their daily transaction to holding it as investment, for now, the users are divided into two, investors and merchants, we are thinking from the perspective of investment but what of the quite number of merchants we have out there?

we are stagnant in this area of $4000, it does not rise much and it does not fall much and this becomes very complicated to predict, if the price falls, it can fall a lot, but if it rises it could reach the  $4250 and that would be very good. But if we look at another angle we can realize that if the price remained at   $4000 and with that little volatility, it would be very good to use as a means of payments and many banks and governments would look bitcoin with good eyes

I don't think there is a coin that has a stable price movement, all of them have price movements that are always up and down and it cannot be predicted where prices will move, whereas if the end of 2019 there will be a pump it seems uncertain because there is still no pump signs.

Bearish market was suppressed and paused down this month of March. I observed a lot of strikes but it didn't come to a point that the price was fall towards the downfall. However there's a certain circumstances which many panic traders started to sell earlier, but it doesn't stop the strong holders to take a stand and remain to have patience. It made us more focused and have positive response despite of those negative speculations behind. Bullish run might not be seen visibly, but I knew and I feel the prescence is already starting to kick on.

Yes, rock like stable above $4k levels which means no possibilities of going any below the price of $3600+. I have seen people that have predicted $2500, but I don't think that is going to happen. Price is not going to go below what it has been. Next thing now is bull run after this stable phase. And as for those that still don't want to buy till now, they are really going to be sorry for themselves for not investing their money while they had the chance to do so.

As per the current stable market conditions, we may assume that bearish mode has been done and the market is about to bounce back. The millionaire dollar question would be how long this sideways market may persist.

Agreed, from that point it wasn't pure bullish but some form of growth continued to happen with bitcoin. There isn't much of growth with altcoins by that time. Further slowly the market grew along with the growth of altcoins. It is quite hard for the market to recover, and now the present market has made a change over majority of the altcoins as well. It is good, let FOMO continue hitting hard on those people, we need more of them who has refused to yield to warning to help us push the market furthermore, there has been so many indicators and so many analysis that bitcoin has already bottomed the moment it crossed over to that line of $4000 but yet, they would not listen to what analysis has been saying, many of them was still waiting for an opportunity for the market to crash so low before they can invest, well. You are right about that, but I think many people still were not sure about that time if BTC had bottomed yet or not, you know it’s not so easy to do this, everything we have seen as been based on prediction, many people missed that bottom price because if they had not, we would have since lots of investment and increase in price then, but they didn’t get to conclude until recently which is why a little increase in the price made everyone to start investing out of FOMO, now they are still waiting to see another of its direction if it will still go lower that this barrier it just broke or higher before they continue with their investment.

It wasnt clear in December, it was still very muddy waters.   Its become a bit clear since February there was some trend upwards.    I think the bear road continues and people will be gloom after a fall after now anyhow.
The reason I say bearish road is not over is because price needs to combat, overcome and then confirm above 6,500 or so.   Thats a long road, coming much closer like this is good prospect but this road is block with debris that much be cleared and this takes more time then many anticipate

This is what I had felt too that the bearish market will become to happen, the market now shows a resistance even a small spike the price but at least it continues growing day by day. People still doubtful but we can't blame them, they say that it will go down after the big correction but I did not see any article regarding that news. Just hold and believed in Bitcoin.

The RSI is garbage mate, it's used for situations like this, where a big sell of or bullish action happens, you would look for hourly charts and RSI oversold conditions to buy in. In this case I believe the indicators are quite clear, weekly lower high broken, daily chart looking strong, what more do you want?

This is where you are getting it all wrong, I am not perfect and you can quote me wrong but I really think that you should not use the price of bitcoin to judge its performance, what if BTC had been agreed on to be a stable coin, and we don’t see any fluctuation, does that mean that the coin is not functioning? Bitcoin will not always remain volatile, one day, its volatility will surely come to an end like that of gold.

I can totally see a retest of 5200, but every dip is being bought so I think it will only be there for a very short amount of time.

Yeah, after seeing the current price stabilization over 5k$ I think that the bear has started heading in the backward direction. This is good news for the crypto lovers but still, I think the market is away from the bullish trend. But from this, it is completely clear that crypto has still a journey to cover and this is not the end...

Rather than thinking much about the beginning of the bull market or the end of the bearish trend it is good to make further decisions with the present market situation as the reference. This will give solid profit if the market turns bullish in a short as well if there is fall in price it won't affect the portfolio.

Well, exactly the market is so volatile and hard to say if this time the bearish is over. Their is a changes in the market so their is a tendency of a little decrease of price again. During the last month the market seems to be stabilized above 5k (in terms of bitcoin price).
it is a positive sign that investors trust the market and the price finds resistance to fall below 5k but we still have a long way to go in order to say that the bearish market is over.

Its so volatile its very difficult to be sure but theres certainly trends and phases of more positive action vs negative selling.  If thats true, traders should have a bias in their actions towards aiming to go long or not and its worth checking which

I can totally see a retest of 5200, but every dip is being bought so I think it will only be there for a very short amount of time.

If we go to 5k, we would be breaking this support and i'll be stopped out. I've been trading that support with a lot of success.

In my experience I would guess the market certainly tests 5000 and if the trend is good then tries to recover from that area after stopping out a certain percentage who had orders to stop loss just below there.    It might respect the 5000 area in closing the bar for 4 hours or daily even but actually trade below that price for at least some time and some volume.   Only in retrospect it would look like a brief dip below the water before resurfacing and continuing as if fine.

Obviously Im not so smart to know when or if this trend is that strong but I expect it to sell some and check previous pricing, 5000 is as good a place as any and a round number is often support for that simple idea of being flat stated in dollars


My personal expectation if we lose the 200 day moving average, is to then head towards the 50 day which matches other levels of support also.    Its a good enough sell to shake out some and allow rebuying &  strong rebound from that point again.   It depends how much selling we can dislodge at these mid to higher 5k prices, with enough new supply we get an avalanche :p

I think majority of us believe that the bearish trend is always over, because if not we are now anymore at $5K+ now.

For us we believe we are not in the bearish period already, but others might have different opinion on what they are seeing or they have different basis to call a market bullish. So I understand if others will call the market still bearish because the last year's market movement made them not easy to be convince.

We all don't really know about that for sure. I have been looking froward to when there will be a bull run and it's been quite a long since we last seen one and this bear trend has lasted more than the last one that happened in 2014 to 2015. The price has managed to get over$4000 .but yesterday I noticed that there was a drop and the price was back to $3995.

It is recovering already and it is starting to follow the road of a bullish market. If you look at the chart it tells you everything from the bottom through the price of it right now. And it is the end of the longest bearish market and it's now to go to the road of bullishness. The market seems something is pushing it but a lot of FOMO is making it get back to its recent price but i like how the market always bounces back.
