I don't know if this will gonna help but most of the reason why some people are down to that level is that because they were in addiction of gambling and that is the reason why they have to suffer so much. Which are btw most of them need a lot of help from someone who can carry their weights inside while helping them to get over with the addiction in gambling.

This is the reality that we keep on hiding, gamblers don’t want to admit on this one because they know they’re guilty. Gamblig should really not be the reason of making money because its not possible to earn fix money on this. I do not see gambling as only a game for fun. That’s only your opinion. If gambling was for fun only, there will not be people who would commit amount of money that would turn them to destitute; there won’t even be need for advice to people on how to play. After all there are so many avenues people catch fun daily and none goes out of his way to make a commitment that will have negative impact.

My point is, gambling can be played as a means for fun and it can also be for the purpose of making money but all those who play for money are advised to always learn not to be greedy and only commit what they can afford to lose so that they won’t become destitute.

I think the game was designed for fun but those who later saw the monetary aspect out of the fun took it to the extreme and used it at their own detriment and that is why there are those suffering from addiction but it was not originally designed for money.

This is not true, most successful gamblers put their time and effort to develop their strategy into a working one.
It's called working smart, and although we want this but not of all have the skills to be successful in gambling, and therefore we have to see that as the reality.

Number one is that you stumble upon a box full of a millions dollars and number two is that you work hard, smart and make strategies and make it happen to make a million dollar or maybe more. The latter has been the most favorite option because the former is way too uncertain like the outcomes in gambling. Common situation that do happen on each gambler.We might see some winners but the number of lossers is more than for those people who smile because they have profited out while they play.

In my opinion, I think luck is inherent in everything we do, so the above poster might be right about what he pointed out. Whether you win a raffle price or hit by a car, there is always an involvement of luck and that is the same thing with gambling.
