The Lithe Project

Lithe™ isn't just another cryptocurrency, It's money that works.

About The Lithe Project

Lithe aims to study the best practices of the fiat world and work towards developing products to be user-friendly for the people. So even though people are using the Lithe crypto on the backend, they will have no problems interacting with it because of its elegant UI. Lithe is built upon the TurtleCoin network which has features such as Light Blocks, Private Transactions and Blockchain Analysis Resistance. Lithe has a maximum supply of 25 billion coins allowing enough coins constantly flowing within the network but not too many that you would have to use more coins than expected to purchase goods. We know of one minor problem between cryptocurrency and normal people and that is it is like Voodoo to them. Lithe will change that so it will allow anyone and everyone the ability to use and benefit from it. Because we want everyone to eventually be using Lithe, we are adapting for longevity. Longevity in Lithe's Proof of Work will allow everybody to earn LITHE, all the time, for the rest of our lives and possibly for the next couple of generations, this also allows the developers to work on and around The Lithe Project for years to come. The Lithe Project's development team are only focused on the development of Lithe and it's applications over time rather than value, getting rich quick and then abandoning it. To prove this, Lithe has no premine and will be totally supported by it's team members, community members and donations. The core miner has a 0% default donation fee allowing users not to feel pressured into donating but also allowing a user of his or her's own accord to donate at free will. The Lithe Project doesn't have a direct core team but that doesn't mean one person is developing on/with it. The Lithe Project has a few trusted members of it's community that helps run thing's and these distinguished people can be seen, and spoken to, from the Lithe's Discord server.

History of Lithe

January 2019:
The Lithe Project helped restore ElphyeCoin (ELPH) by completely upgrading their existing code-base to become the first Lithe fork. Lithe was already in development and we used this as a starting point for their new network. Everyone of their community has enjoyed the newly upgraded blockchain code-base so far.
January 2019:
The Lithe Project helped upgrade AmityCoin's (AMIT) code-base.
March 2019:
Development of a brand new GUI is in motion and current progress can be tracked within the Discord server. There is a repo for this on GitHub but because this is being actively developed, it will lack commits.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Our team is small and mainly constists of a few community members and also 2 developers of other blockchains helping us out.

I wrote a Medium article about teams here: https://medium.com/@Lithy/the-lithe-project-908c9368142e

when mainnet

Mainnet has no timeframe yet. Currently we are developing the applications we might need in the future. We’ll also try to have everything ready for mainnet.

I guess specs are incomplete, what type of coin it is? what is the collateral?

Yes, as stated at the very top of this tread, this post will lack information but everything will get updated over time.

This coin works on the CryptoNote procotol, making it a private cryptocurrency as opposed to Bitcoin forks.

Good Project! But more developments need to see!!

Is your web wallet also on testnet?

A web wallet isn’t online yet but all applications will work on testnet and then once mainnet has launched, they’ll all be moved over to mainnet.

The reason for staying in testnet for the time being is to allow ourselves the time to everything we need developed in time, no matter how long it takes. We’re in no rush.

I have ip geographical question are you based in Netherlands or United States, very important ..cheers
and can you please precompile release for win64 please, nice website

As this is a decentralised project, we’re aiming to get as many trusted seeds in as many different geographical locations. Right now, we’re covering the Netherlands, Poland, Seattle in America and Canada.

As well as it being good for the project by having more seeds to decentralise the network, it would also help with the connectivity to the Blockchain.

The latest TESTNET binaries for Windows can be found here: https://ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/rqpeuvk5h054okk6/artifacts/lithe-290843d0efad2a0d32de4e84998a596518fdf7ca-windows.zip

hi, ive pinged your ip your website is down whats happening , and lithed is not relaying anything ...looking forward

-- failed to connect to any of seed partners
-- no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
will be restarting lithed //node
-- presume your masternode is down _
-- amd miner please

The website is currently hosted using FreeNom so we may experience some downtime from the website from time to time.

Do you perhaps have Discord so we can talk further to solve your problems connecting?

How many people are truly believing that our earth is flat?

That depends on the people you ask around the globe
