The issue of KYC always raises questions whose answers are mostly not very discerning to the ears. It is quite unfortunate, I know most crypto enthusiasts are not comfortable giving out their personal information for KYC but there is little we can do about the situation at the moment.  Most of these projects claim they are under a legal jurisdiction where KYC is very important for many business projects. The new trend is increasingly becoming worrisome as many airdrops are even requiring KYC verification from participants.

I would never risk my personal documents for a small airdrop. However, airdrops are worth almost nothing, especially on the falling market and it does not make any sense to undergo a KYC process for several bucks of noname token.

They are lying for all of airdrops participants, they are not under legal jurisdiction and look at how many of them are running away with all of our identity after getting it and gives scam coin for participants. I never try to risk my documents for a few dollars.

I think the airdrop program should not force participants to send KYC to them. It is really unnecessary. The investor just wants to keep our KYC in order to carry out dark intentions. We should be careful in providing our personal information.

Are you sure you provide personal data only for shit airdrops?
come on don't want to be fooled by worthless tokens. Personal data is very important and it must remain confidential.
Last year I still understood KYC for bounties or investors, but after seeing a thread reddit about selling KYC data. I realize KYC is just bullshit, I won't give my personal documents just for a little gift.

They are not all scammers. Lately, it is possible to encounter it in many projects. But what I am saying does not mean they can not be scammers. On the other hand, I also think it is not worth to pass KYC for 1-2 bucks.

I'll never give my own documents to them just for a few bucks airdrop, look back past airdrop, most of them just want to steal our documents and finally run away, my previous experience is it's not worth to waste our time in airdrop.

it's just a claim and can't prove anything. there are many projects that say so but eventually scam. so stop giving KYC only to airdrop. personal documents are very valuable and don't give them only for coins worth $10. this is not worth the risk that you will experience later

I don’t do kyc for airdrops because it’s not worth it
But this is a decentralized system and no body can be forced to do any thing

All depends on the individual definitely
Just be yourself

Ask it to yourself, is your privacy (identity) only worth to that airdrop (that only worth like $1)? Nope for me, i don't even join the blockchain airdrop that worth $25 xlm because my identity is not worth for that and i will not do KYC verification on airdrop and bounties like that.

Dont just fall those cheap trap, never surrender your privacy and documents in exchange for only cheap airdrops? Your privacy and documents are priceless and it should be in safe and private place at all times avoid those kind of airdrops that requiring KYC documents its very obvious and shady in nature.

If you don't want to worry, don't participate in this airdrop anymore, you're not going to regret, because they offer nothing to the community and will just become a pump and dump coin plus they are going to sell your vital information in the dark web, the team are the one who is going to make a profit here at your expense, so stop doing airdrops.

Airdrop campaigns are a very low-paying bonus campaign. And most of the time from the airdrop campaign, the value of token is around 1-2 dollars. So I also don't find it right to share my credentials to earn only 1-2 dollars. There are also great insecurity in airdrop campaigns because of scam campaigns on the market. So i prefer to stay away from airdrop campaigns wanting KYC

We can't really know if an airdrop is worth something or not. A lot of new and old exchanges are asking KYC as a requirement now.
It is really difficult to find a popular exchange without KYC now. And some exchanges don't let some people from some countries to subscribe.
It can be seen as a security as if some hackers hack an exchange, they are going to be identified more easily as they would have to pass KYC to be able to sell their coins.
Or they would have to sell them at a very low value. We can suppose that some hackers want to collect KYC information to be able to have fake ID.
And there is still a risk to give them your infos without receiving something.
But yes, most of the airdrops are worthless.

I agree to you dude dont put your self in danger I will not ever give my identity to everyone thats why I stay away from airdrop that required a KYC even the amount of airdrop is too high its better to safe than to say sorry!!

I wish people would stop doing or giving into such, why would one risk his or her privacy for an airdrop not worth anything. We should know what we sacrifice our privacy for. All this kyc stuff should be put to an end. I just get tired when I read about KYC.

Now that's is so unfair for all bounty hunters especially to risk their personal information on it. Because it's just a simple work why they need a kyc for it?  For sure if all project's  provide that stuff in their airdrop, one thing only will happen IMO which is they struggle first and cant immediately gain participants because of that new requirements .

It is really laughable.

They are giving out few cents and in return they are asking for your identity. Just don't join if you see an airdrop asking for a kyc.

It's true that when a company run their business KYC is must is this types of case but for us, it will not a wise decision to provide our personal details for some bucks. There's a huge risk of data being compromised or used in a illegal way. That's why I think we should avoid this.

This is what i thought. Why would people risk their identification for a token that you aren't even sure if it will have any value in the future. You might get hack like they might use your identification on fraud or illegal act! They are just claiming that it is needed because of legalities but no they are not into any legal jurisdiction so beware.
