There are not so many Airdrops today and the most of them are from scam projects, so if it is required to pass KYC for the participation, you need to be sure it is a trustworthy project which will not sell your data.

That's definitely a stupid thing and I would never give my KYC to an airdrop just to receive some wivh worth a few dollars and sometimes those coins are even worthless. The only way I would accept to give my KYC for an airdrop is if it is create by a very big and trusted website. An example is Blockchain that recently offered 25$ worth of XLM.

I don't see the point of having KYC for an Airdrop. In the first place, airdrops don't distribute huge amount of tokens in a single participant. So, why would someone risk his personal information for small amount. Consider the fact that some tokens from airdrops were not yet available for trading.

This to me should not be worrisome to you or anyone. If you are not comfortable with the KYC option for airdrops, simply ignore such airdrops. I have also taken my own stand.

Usually they can collect your email address and read your name on Gmail. Apart from that id only you can stop even after you shared these details with the regular airdrop where they do not need KYC.
KYC documents are been collected on some of the bounty as well as airdrops. It hard to stop all the people who wish to earn in this crypto industry.

Any airdrops asking for KYC should be avoided, If they start asking for KYC then its not free airdrop anymore you basically sold your identity for few $ or worst few Cents. be on the safe side no matter how good the project is KYC should be avoided as much as possible,

I have repeatedly asked questions to the ICO team and everyone who is associated with bounty hunters on their behalf on the basis of what legal document they require to pass KYC bounty hunters and that this document says about the participants of the ICO bounty campaign. I never received any answer on the essence of this question. I am also confident that everyone who writes on the forum that ICO teams have the right to require us to undergo KYC checks have no idea about such a right.
It is illegal to require ICO bounty campaigners to pass KYC checks. I hope that when there will be government regulation of ICO activities, such a check against us will disappear.

If the airdrop is on the market exchange site, I'm not worried because the exchange market already done KYC (such as LAtoken and Binance). but if the airdrop outside the exchange market is like airdrop shit tokens from an ico project or other (blockchain excluded), I will choose to avoid it if asked to do KYC.

I personally don't like airdrops and I have never took part in any of them by choice. Though I have received a few tokens in my wallet out of nowhere but I haven't participated in any such airdrops.
KYC is a big deal since we are giving our personal information to somebody who might make it public. Things might get worse if you make your personal information public.
I have read articles where hackers steal the KYC details and sell it on the dark web and some times ICO teams themselves misuse it.
So I would recommend not to indulge in any platforms where KYC is mandatory.

I don't think airdrop needs kyc. whatever the reason for asking aidrops participants to verify KYC is wrong. So do not ever provide data only for aidrops.

if the results themselves are not a big problem but sometimes we do not get the appropriate payment from airdrop so that it is not so suitable if we see today so much airdrop that indeed scams and harms the users
