Second Attempt: Bittrex Announces Its First Initial Exchange Offering

Is IEO really going to be the new ICO?  Can it really get anywhere near the same kind of traction realistically?

Initial Exchange Offering sounds new to me anyway, I hold some Binance tokens on their exchange. I am using Bittrex from the last two years. But I really miss an official Bittrex mobile app. Anyway, I am not interested in this IEO as I don't think there would be a much better use of this exchange token other than some reduced trading fees.

I hope this time they don't cancel it again. if the IEO at bittrex is successful this will be an extraordinary thing. binance has already made a surprise and I'm sure Bitrex will follow it too.

When was BreakoutCoin and did it get completed?

I think technically they have the same usage for Bittrex, they both use Bittrex to act as an escrow, but Breakout coin seems to be a straight forward "ICO" using Bittrex as an escrow? Clarify if I am wrong. Is Breakout coin an IEO?

In my opinion, IEOs are not great inventions. The sales in known exchanges causes the price to be exchanged above the sales price. IEOs are currently used as a source of earnings and end will come soon.

If this becomes a huge success, we can expect more to come, like what the article says " IEO model could help restore the trust of investors and push the industry forward." that means ICO and bounty hunting would just become a second for a company to launch their crowdfunding.

Totally agreed, Binance has shown that IEO is actually more reliable and preferable by both investor and developer. If other Big Exchange like Bittrex following it's step, IEO will attract more investor and project developer. But however eventually when many left ICO and pick IEO instead, bounty hunting will be still be needed even when company using IEO, since the competition is getting more tight between project, they will need more promotion.

I'm not sure but I believe I have seen some successful IEO from Bittrex in the past, that time the usual ICO format is still popular.
They are going with the trend and that's good, with this new trend, exchanges will be benefited more, and of course there will be less scams in the market.

The first was canceled due to Raids advisor leaving its better exchange protect their legacy than lose everything they have been building for because of IEO. I hope this one goes through.

Bittrex IEO is very interesting, but I think there are no chances to participate manually by hands because of only 200 places with max $20k cap will succeed and most of them will be scripts.

I hope there is no problem this time their past IEO was dropped because of some startling issues and there are so many negative vibes spreading, It appears that they tighten their approval a little bit base on this blog I trust bittrex won't disappoint its clients this time and veriblock it appears a trustworthy project.

but I like their way. this proves that Bitrex protects its investors. wouldn't it be a problem if yesterday continued.

and if later the IEO is also canceled, I think that proves that Bittrex is really verifying the projects that are working with them.

Yes but the real credit is to the community they are the one who noticed this issue about that canceled IEO and they message bittrex to their social media, I see a bunch of message on their twitter "cancel IEO" good thing bittrex choose the right action and good luck their upcoming IEO.

It's not that the actual token sale failed, it was never launched in the first place.

Can you name some of the token sale on less known exchanges that were successful? I've yet to see one project that would claim they successfully raised funds mainly because of the IEO.

Probably this will succeed as well. Most coins from IEO launching on top exchange fly. So probably this one will be same with other exchange such as binance and bitmax. People now chooses this kind of project since the trend of 4x to 5x profit is becoming real.

I think it is unreal to get a chance for buying. Crazy fomo, payments in BTC (you don't need to buy a volatility exchange shitcoin), large personal cap. It will be closed like for a few seconds

They really need to do it as Binance is already far ahead in competition. Kucoin recently has it's own launchpad and Bittrex, after the failed attempt with Raid should be good with their IEO offering.

Now the competition ante is up, so let's see who will survived in this battle. But if you look at the bright side, this is very good for us, we have so many options right now to choose. Lots of FOMO I supposed and I'm sure within minutes the sale will be over so hurry up.

I was counting on Bittrex, but the transaction volume has dropped too much lately. Still, VeriBlock will be an exciting IEO. I think Bittrex can shine again.

Well, you never know how this will go. I think they were really lucky or really smart to cancel the first IEO before it went live, imagine if it went live and we all bought it and then something went wrong! Their reputation would have been impossible to recover, even if they weren't the ones responsible.

Exchange offering, let's see how this goes. I might even put a little something for the sake of joining history;)

I think binance had one sometime, perhaps it was successful. I expect that we are going to see more of IEOs as icos have almost gone underground.

Yeah, Binance is the most successful project when holding an IEO. If Bittrex is also a big success in this second round, the term IEO will be increasingly well known and many large projects will come to start IEOs as well.

binance has so far shown that they can handle IEO successfully, lasting for few seconds to minutes, but the latest project CELER dropped its price significantly.

i hope projects under bittrex launchpad are more robust and that can sustain or even exceed their IEO price afterwards.
