Manually counting them, nope, you don't have to do that, fella.
There is a tool for you to get them, automatically, giving by @Vod.

Please replacing the starting point of your wanted 120-day period. In the example above, I set the start day on 27/11/2018.
So, you received 38 merits during last 120 days, not 40 or 50 ones.

I could be of by 1 or 2 but not that much. Don't have time to check it now and this probably isn't the place to discuss it anyway. I used bpip in the past and it always showed my sMerits wrong. It usually showed at least 2 more than I had.

It usually showed at least 2 more than I had.

BPIP lists only the total records of your received Merit. If someone sent you 2 or more Merit at once it'll be displayed as 1 record although you received 2 or more Merit. That's why there's a difference. Sum of Merit is still 0 and under construction:

I now show number of records on the bottom
still working on the summation.

Meanwhile you can use the Merit Dashboard from DdmrDdmr: 

Follow the steps:

- visit Merit Dashboard
- go the "Received Merit" tab
- enter your Bitcointalk name in the space on the right (to user name)
- press enter and select your name (click checkbox)
- adjust the time you want to display by adjusting the date range slider

The site will now update and you can check the total number of received Merit during that time (light-green)

That's how i do it as well, however DdmrDdmr's Merit dashboard is not always up to date, , AFAIK , he updates it every Friday, so it can be 6 days off.

so after having done whatever you suggest above , you need to check merit count on forum website then - whatever the total merit shows on DdmrDdmr's website , then add that number to total date-filtered result you got.
