Perhaps the feds even decided to keep the campaign going, i'm not sure how communications with HHampuz and Bestmixer went, but i have my suspicions that the site has been under control of the FIOD for longer than just today, to collect even more information about customers.

But since the mixer were closed recently with some serious investigations taking place, I would like to know from where did you receive their payment and pay us? This was running in my mind right from today morning once the website was seized! If the payments for the whole campaign period were made from the mixed coins wouldn't that be little bit dangerous on your side and from our side? With coin tracking taking place, wouldn't that lead up straight to this campaign money?

Posting this not to create a confusion among the participants, but to be safer on the other side. Dutch officials claim the coins were of criminal origin and seems to be used for money laundering services, so if our payment coins were the mixed one wouldn't it create a havoc in the minds of participants? Not everyone who participated in the campaign would be aware of a mixing service, so liquidating might create a problem for them.

The whole process went like this:

The BestMixer account here at bitcointalk sent me a PM asking if I could run a Sig campaign for them. After negotiations we set it up and agreed on payrates and for how long the campaign would run. They started off by sending me 3BTC and 4 weeks later they sent me another 3BTC (and were scheduled to send me another 3BTC this week).

I did not ask nor did I check where the BTC came from, as I've never done no matter what transaction I've been involved with.

I've never had any contact with BestMixer outside of this forum, the account that messaged me never even gave me a name at the bottom of their message. I once asked if we could talk outside of bitcointalk since it would be easier and due to them not being online here that much. They declined and said this will be the only form of communication.

I don't want any of you to feel at risk, at the end of the day I offer a service and they reached out to me (I'm not in any danger, neither are you). As for the origin of the bitcoin, it should not matter too much at this point either. Although I've never come across any case where someone got screwed over just for receiving BTC from a questionable source. Time will tell I guess but as I previously mentioned, none of us should be in any danger.

I am pretty sure you would have done the 12 weeks and even more(They seemed to be making a tone of BTC through the mixing service) if it wasn't for the unfortunate incident.

I'm really sorry about this abrupt end. It caught me completely off-guard and has made me question who we should/shouldn't work with moving forward. I've sent you all a final payment for the work you did leading up to this point, even if you made below the required amount of posts.

Please know that I'll gladly accept all of you in any of my future/ongoing campaigns. It has been my pleasure and I've gotten to know a few amazing people through this Campaign.

This a notice that I have receive the final payment for this campaign and yet what a big disappoint this is, but don't worry Hhampuz, this is not your fault, You're just being honest with your work and they have just only used your services to advertise their company. Don't put the blame on your self mate, it makes me cry 😭

Will now apply to one of your Campaigns again, How I wish this would be a lesson for us all. I really thought BestMixer was Good and might be considered as a competitor of Chipmixer, its such a good thing I don't really use mixers.

And what if they have been running an investigation on chipmixer too? Can you guarantee it to me that it's not happening right now?

At this point using a mixing service is risky as hell and I would think twice before I move those campaign coins.

The current issue is indeed serious and is actually scares me a little bit. I thought that this certain services are fair and legit as most of this are running through the market for several years already and have established some good reputation

It can be anything whether they did something or they are in suspicion of doing something wrong.

Earning from campaign is good but guys do not rely on it (as seen by outburst by few user.)  that they got  upset.

The Dutch FIOD has gathered information on all the interactions on this platform in the past year. This includes IP-addresses, transaction details, bitcoin addresses and chat messages. This information will now be analysed by the FIOD in cooperation with Europol and intelligence packages will be shared with other countries.

This news has more to do with people who used the mixer,but the transaction details is what needs to be taken into account.

I am sad for the bad news that BestMixer has now stopped operating because Dutch authorities made investigations and later on shut down the whole site, the servers and its related services. I know that mixers are playing big role in making sure that bitcoin transactions remained private and anonymous but this idea along can run counter to the power of the government especially using the anti-money laundering ground. I hope Bestmixer can find the way to get back into business under a different name and using servers in less dangerous country. Good to see that people involved in its promotions in this forum are paid of what is due to them. I also appreciate that Hhampuz is one of the excellent managers we have around.
