I'm looking to sell 2 bitcoin rigs together or separately. They are each stable at about 1550 Mhash/s (Total 3100 Mhash/s). They can go faster. I haven't tweaked them much. Asking 300 BTC or equivalent USD per rig. Please include shipping from zip code 84321 when bidding. I accept DWOLLA (ID #: 812-489-3211). My bitcoin address is in the signature line. **Each** rig contains the following: 5 x 5830 Sapphire 5 x Riser cards (will throw in extra 2) 1 x Sempron 1 x Rosewill PSU (80+% efficient) 1 x 1GB RAM 1 x 2GB+ Linuxcoin USB stick. All original product boxes, manuals, CD's and accessories are available. EDIT: One rig has has only 4 HD5830's. I sold one. Hashrate is less (-310 Mhash/s). Prices subject to change.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

The price would need to be much lower for this to be reasonable. I was building brand new rigs for this price and that included custom aluminum cases that get the same Mh/s.

Last I checked 5830's were going for $129+ Mobo's were $100+. PSU's were $140+. Riser cards $8+. RAM $10+. CPU $40+.
Total: $943 w/o case setup.

There is no way anybody will pay more than current outlook will make him profit. I personally wouldn't even take it for free, oh well maybe but just to sell the cards to gamers... Srsly grab what you can get and run with it.

Just looking for that true blue bitcoin believer, I guess.
I consider reasonable offers. I might even part out. I'm all ears.

Reasonable price for a 5830 right now is well under $100. Just saw 8 on ebay go for $600. IMHO I wouldn't pay more than $70 a piece for the 5830s. And if you are getting 1550Mh/s per rig, you are about maxed. Maybe 20Mh/s more.

I haven't been buying too many 5830's anymore but the one's I've bought have been in the $70-$80 range, with as little as $67.

This an entire functional rig for the current price of 280 BTC. It's vetted and ready to go. I think it's worth more than parted out.
Anybody?

I guess I better qualify the pricing structure. Any posted price in BTC is good for about 30 minutes given the volatility in the $/bitcoin price (this in case of a crash in the price). I wouldn't want to jilt anybody including myself. If past is prologue... I just want to cover my butt. I'm looking for about a $820 USD/rig cost, or thereabouts.
Notwithstanding, I would still take any suggested offers.

I really don't have much cash on hand right now, but I offer you whatever I have in my BTC savings. Pretty much a small parting gift if you give up. Honestly, I just need to upgrade cheap because I can't get anywhere my card.
