I think this same idea have already been done on the steemit blockchain, though steemit called it upvote instead of like but I think it meant the same thing.

About 'identity at risk' issue, I quite didnt get your point? You mean the info you provide while applying for airdrop? Well in order to avoid bots and fake signups, we have to ask for cell phone and email and the download link will be sent on the phone too. We'd prefer quality signups over the fake quantity.

Steemit only reward for upvotes received but not upvotes given.  Getting rewarded for giving likes ia something quite new.  But of course, there must be mechanism e.g AI to know if the likes given are genuine or just spam.
