The best bitcoin lightning network wallet I believe depends on quick user friendly interface and features but must not take away from the user the essential dynamics that separate the wallet from others that don't support lighting transactions.

It would be much more better if you can compare both wallets (Blue and Eclair) as you are asking us to vote which one is better. Not all bitcoiner are aware or understand about lightning network wallet, so this thread will be useful if you provide pros and cons of each wallet as well as provide some screenshot of the wallet.

I've never used blue wallet... I have just taken a quick glance at their website, and it looks like it's not an open source wallet (i can be wrong, i just quickly browsed their site), so i'll stick with eclair for now. It's a basic wallet, but it fullfills everything i need for a spending wallet for now.

I haven't tried those wallets before nor heard of them. Just like bitiny said I would appreciate if there was a comparison between the two wallets. So that I might consider having that kind of wallet.

Also I have not seen a market place for apps "laaps" on Eclair but on the blue wallet they have a wide variety of apps that make use of the lightning charge. Check out YouTube video link for better understanding https://youtu.be/6EHNq1anD1k

Lightning network wallets? I know that they exist, but I don't anyone who uses them. Honestly, there are some people who still maintain non-segwit addresses since they don't have any knowledge of segwit or just don't care about it.

Checked out Blue and Eclair wallets and I do not recommend them at present since they are mobile wallets which I don't usually prefer. Hardware wallets or paper wallets are much better alternatives in this scenario.

I don't have any stakes in promoting eclair, altough i'm a longtime eclair user... And as a user i tend to disagree with some of the above statements: eclair has a desktop version next to it's mobile version and it's open source so anybody can vet the code. Also, i see lightning wallets as "pocket change" wallets, not for storing huge amounts of funds... As such, i don't think a hardware wallet implementation is necessary.
IMHO, a lightning wallet is meant to be loaded with a couple dozen bucks so it can be used to make small POS purchases... The whole protocol isn't as safe as bitcoin protocol it relies on anyways...

Don't get me wrong: i completely agree with the fact that if you want to keep your funds safe, you should consider a hardware wallet, airgapped wallet or paper wallet... But the lightning protocol isn't about keeping your funds in a completely safe environment, it's about finding a balance between relative safety, speed and ease of use... Just my 2 satoshi's tough.

Never tried both of them however, I did quick research about them and it seems that the two were always part of the suggestions for lightning network wallets.

These are the two websites that I've seen and they are part of it.

Just like bitiny said I would appreciate if there was a comparison between the two wallets.
Agree with this, it would be great if there is someone who has experienced of using both wallets that can give his opinion at the same time.

@mocacinno thank you for that informative opinion about eclair.

I havent tested out Blue wallet thats why i cant make any conclusion but reading up above on some comments about Blue then it turns out that Eclair
is a better option which ive been using for sometime and as being said i dont have any complaints yet this already provide on what you need.
We are indeed need of comparison among the two which would really be helpful.

Can a bitcoin lightening network wallet be implemented in different wallet provider like the blockchain, bitwala, Luno, like we have some client that are Segwit activated? I understand that lightening network helps in bitcoin scalabilty and ensures a very low transaction fee. Thank you.

Just heard those two, tbh.

Honestly, there are some people who still maintain non-segwit addresses since they don't have any knowledge of segwit or just don't care about it.
I'm guilty here, since then I don't care if I use non segwit address but one day there's a thread that discuss this and found out that the transaction fee is much lower than those non segwit address. Everything make all sense since then.

I use this provider to trade Cryptos : Bitcoin Revolution

Do you mean: is it technically possible to build a web lightning wallet? If so, the answer is yes, altough using web wallets is never a good idear

I guess you mean people should be able to differentiate between Lightening wallet and normal Bitcoin wallets. There are some merchants that do this. One of such merchants is bitrifill. I am not very sure if they still have that sort of LN wallet .

Why you need to use the merchant to differentiate the lighting network and general blockchain network! You can surf on Google and confirm it easily.
I hope this article will be helpful to understand that for you.

I completely agree with you.

Small funds = Mobile lightning network wallets like Eclair etc(Relatively safe)
Big funds = Cold storage solutions, Hardware wallets, Paper wallets(Maximum safety)

The masses generally don't have a clue as to what a LN wallet or non-LN wallet is and generally tend to leave their coins on the exchange where they are trading their coins which is why they end up losing money. This knowledge needs to be communicated to them in a user-friendly manner to help avoid such grievances in the future.

Right now I don't think there is a wallet that could be called the best because lightning network is still kind of a new thing and it needs time in order for people to get used to it. I am wondering if Blockchain and other popular wallets are planning to add lightning protocol to their wallets in the future since this was promoted as something that would really help bitcoin a lot. Now, that it's lunched all that hype is gone and no one care about it anymore.

We did some business with a Chinese wallet called Bitpie wallet which is the biggest and most popular bitcoin wallet in China because it has cold storage capabilities.
I have added it to the list because it also supports lighting network but unlike eclair and blue wallet it is a multi cryptocurrency wallet plus its security features are great for those who want to store huge amounts of crypto and trade at the same time without sacrificing security.
