The North Korean hacker group Lazarus have continued to carry out several attacks on crypto businesses and financial technology (fintech) firms, using modern hacking techniques, according to Kaspersky Lab.

According to the report, it is alleged that a group of hackers has created PowerShell scripts which enable operators to run different commands on a remote server. Those scripts fall on the server under the facade of WordPress files. When the script is successfully launched, it enables attackers to download and then install app files, go on to update the configuration of the ill server and then gather info about it.

The level of how rich or poor a country,person or group is are not the subject of which, I believe you don't go through the article included in the OP post because NK was not only the side facing hackers attack as mentioned by the article and I believe the reason behind all the article and OP post was to create an awareness so that people could improve their security level not saying bad thing about a nation.

I can't tell it. I understand the situation of the people there on how the gov't reigns them. But I'm off to say when it comes on how they live there, I used to watch documentaries of the people who escaped their borders and tells on how hard it is living there.

This is true, everyone should be careful of their funds whether you have a company or none. The technique that this hacking group is 'modern' base on the kaspersky lab, if they can figure it out on how modern it was, they should be able to maintain security at the highest level to stop Lazarus and any other hackers group.

It doesnt focus on which countries do hackers are located as said above you havent even try to read up on the link being given by OP for you do judge too much on whats the status of NK.
Hacking companies is never been a new thing here on online world.It do exist since net and online transactions began where money do involved.

Presumably the DPRK is targeting crypto because conventional banking is an absolute bastard to deal with for them. However all they're doing is winding up with something that needs to be sold before they can realise the value anyway. And that itself has conventional banking problems too.

I'd love to know their system of rat holes. It must be incredibly opaque.

I bet there are no independent hackers in North Korea, because it is gravely dangerous to conduct any independent activity in that country, especially one associated with foreign countries. All those hackers work for the North Korean government receiving maybe above the average but still a very small wage. It's a pity that such talented people work for the evil government(which is not poor btw), but they actually have no choice because no one can leave the country at will.

Experts from Kaspersky Lab noted that Lazarus attackers go on to hack firms which operate in the fields of digital currencies and fintech.   

The text does not talk about cryptocurrencies. I do not know from where that word was entered with digital currencies, their goal is not cryptos itself but hacking.
Also, reporting the losses of the platforms are not all the result of hacks some of them, manipulation of prices and much to steal investors' money.

Based on Wikipedia this group is not from North Korea.

It doesn't have to do with the living class that hackers are placed or the country they live.
There are many hackers that they reside all over the world, and some countries of them are very rich. Hackers will always search for breaches in the cryptocurrency industry because it is where the wealth is for them and they can make money from it.
