Since the market is still sleeping, i have to be patient and make something alternatively profitable like signature campaigns in order to not get bored. I have been active on campaigns since then and got plenty of bitcoins on hold.

Lately, my brother saw me browsing on bitcointalk then ask me a lot of things about this. After a couple of hours of question and answer, i hoprle he learned something from me. He wanted to try trading and engaging in bitcoin but he does not have anything. I ask him to read and familiarize bitcoin more and after that i would gave him some as a starter. After a couple of weeks, he tells me he's ready.

I lend him 0.2 BTC so that he can do trial and error in trading or even bet a little on gambling. I checked him yesterday and it seems that his doing good and earned even a little. I also noticed that he become more responsible mostly on financial things. I am planning to not take the .2 capital and just gave it to him since i saw that he's a hardworking person now.

By the way, he's just 15yrs old and im glad i teach him important things in that age.
Wow I think it is a really good thing that you talk to him about crypto.
This could make him more responsible person and teach him how to manage his money the right way.
At least at an early age he is earning his own money and because of it he wouldn't spend it on something stupid because it is his hard earn money.

That's good in his age of 15 he already understand about handling and how to multiply money. But I think he will need a proper guidance. He need to understand first what are do's and don'ts about bitcoin. And the first that he should know the proper time management specially in doning bitcoin business and study. And reading herebin bitcointalk is a great help for him to

i honestly don't know whether this was a good idea or a very bad one.
it is good to introduce other people to bitcoin specially someone close to you but considering the age of that person (15 in your case) and the volatility of the market and the fact that most people who get into it by starting to trade get too caught up into the hype and usually end up losing a lot of money, i don't think starting him off with $800 (0.2) was such a good idea.

Well, it's cool. I find him an enthusiasm when he has inpired his younger brother- a very young boy. Probably young boy is quite lucky because clearly he has been in trouble with his interest, but luckily he has his older brother to solve the problem better. I believe that a majority of young people  in the world may have a big interest in this field. It may be a good news to them as well as crypto community. For young people, if they can get knowledge in terms of crypto, they will grab many opportunities in the future, also it can help them to create a foundation to lead a better. For crypto, this will pave the way for crypto to be more and more developed.

Can we be brothers?so you can also give me 0.2bitcoin?
Haha this comment gave me so much laughter. Well, it's his decision to give his brother that kind of amount. And looking at his posts in this thread, I think that this guy is financially stabled.

Anyway, just don't teach your brother how to gamble. Teach him on how to trade but not to gamble. If he became a gambling addict then that's on you.

0.2 bitcoin? Oh you are so good brother, that's roughly 800$ and to be fair too much for one week enlightened and especially 15 years old boy, I don't judge you, just personal opinion.
I think trading is a lot early for him because it's better to know basic economics and some math. Let him to learn value of money, this is the best thing you can do. Also don't let him to fall too much in trading. Hope he will be interested in blockchain technologies too.

Bitcoin travel has begun and he will become a professional with a lot of hard work and research.

I am happy to take things like this and do it well no matter how important it looks amazing and I like to learn the basics of trading and adopt it very well on the market.

beg a good sister to keep checking and guiding my beginner to fix it if I make a general mistake.  Smiley

You are a generous brother, there are brothers that aren't even helping each other when they want to try out new things. 0.2 BTC is just too much for me, I'm willing to give my brother a try if he wanted to trade or gamble and it's going to be with a very small amount. But seems no interest coming from him, how I wish that I have a good brother like you so when I ask things you are very responsinve and generous enough to give it. I'm also thinking if your brother knows how to gamble now?

I won't give a starter 0.2BTC, he will blow it off. Except there are sure trading signals which professions will have to veto, or if he has been long into forex trading, otherwise some starters may get carried away by the market instability and their emotions will end up ruling them. Although humans defer, in Crypto game, experts are still careful.

Even though giving so much to him was a good an kind gesture. He is 15 and you said he first try out into how to use cryptocurrency was gambling a little of it? Well this is not good to teach him because he could become addicted or even worse lose it all and being at such a young age he might not be able to handle it and might even ask for more to try and win it back which never pans out in the end for any one trying to do it.
Plus 15 years old are not allow to gamble even on crypto casinos. If he actually wins a large amount and they ask him for kyc aml procedures to do a withdrawal I think that will be the end of his cryptocurrency journey.

I think this is a good news for you and your family ,
At least at the young age he knows how to stand on his own.
And he is becoming more mature at his young age he would know how to manage money ,Unlike other teenager who just knows how to spend it, This would keep him busy instead of going out doing some stupid stuff .

I think it's great you introduce your brother for blockchain and bitcoins, I don't think that trading should be the first thing to learn when involving in bitcoins.
In the last few weeks, we have seen many green days for altcoins, so almost everyone will have made some profit, I think it is important you show him some good trading strategies so he knows when to buy and even more important when to sell and take profit.

Well it's good for us to teach others that are ready to learn about bitcoin although I still have my doubt about if the story is genuine you can't have 0.2 to lend to a fifteen year old and still engage in a bounty that would take you a while to earn that amount. But looking away from that I think the message the OP  intended is passed and it's quite helpful

giving new experiences to your brother and giving a knowledge about crypto is not an easy thing. and giving a trust in trading or gambling with real funds that is truly extraordinary. because losing funds due to the transaction risk. this will be a good family collaboration. at least you have helped your brother to find additional pocket money without committing crimes.

Something good you did with your little brother
If you helped him in his learning of crypto
Surely he will help others and I think that is what the crypto community needs.

Well he's lucky that at that young age, he's already engaged with such things and bitcoin plus he has a brother to guide him since he's just a beginner. When he gets familiarized with it, probably he would teach it to his friend and also share his knowledge about bitcoin. And then the cycle goes on, more people are getting to know bitcoin.

Great! The teenage year is the most important years of all the teenagers to develop their mind and imagination but due to the norms of school. Their imagination critical thinking would be ruined by the stress and pressure of the subjects and assignments of the school. It's great that you guided your brother to become more successful in the future.

Is that story even real? Roll Eyes
It looks to me it's pure non sense since he's 15 years old and you are trying to make yourself look good on the forum.
Provide some evidence of what you stated and maybe we would reconsider your story is actually true

Nothing to see here

It is good that your brother is willing to engage in crypto world at such a young age. But lending or giving him .2 btc is really big for just a trial. Anyway, if he is really serious to enter trading, he should learn technical analysis and other things which I think it wasn't that easy to understand and needs time before really try to do actual trading. But in terms of gambling, he can try it. But remember that it is addicting.
