Promising ICOs that didn´t live up their expectations

As the title already says. What are your promising ICOs (big investing, promising project etc.) that couldnt full fill their expectations ? Are maybe some of them still "living" and having a living community?

I've joined and invested Envion project about a year ago. They were promising a lot of things. But after a year, they didn't keep any promise yet. My biggest disappointment...

I was more talking about former ICOs from lets say 2016-2017.
So still a popular ICO time with promising projects, but simply tooo many projects so that not every one could get the needed attention.

I agree with you . Most in March, all ICO projects are just scams to make money from investors and people are inclined to invest more IEO this year. I think IEO projects bring better profits for everyone and you can make a lot of money if that project gets the great attention of everyone so choose the best projects to join.

Even very high rated projects end up losing there value I think we shouldn't worry about the price for now ,all good projects are affected by the present market condition even the projects that met hardcap and already return profits to ICO investors are all down in price ,im actually less worried because they will recover later on

IOVO did not live to people's expectation check https://iovo.io/ their developer https://www.linkedin.com/in/brittany-kaiser-484b577/ Brittany Kaiser cannot push this project to its limit to gain success, investors thought this is going to be huge because of the hype, media coverage people involved in it, but this does not mean it's game over for IOVO, a good project will always be treated as good project, and they have done the right thing in pausing it, because they knew there is a right time for this project to get funded.

You must better understand the developments that occur, and do not put full hope on ico. Some investors think they won't make mistakes for the umpteenth time, because it has joined the ico scam. I do not recommend ico for you, I only advise you to be more careful in making decisions if you want to invest.

For example?

I was in the ARK ICO and they are one of few which could actually increase their price and still be a very promising project with a living community.

Most of ico's that i've join has not on time and cant follow on their roadmap on date so many of bounty hunters and investors always complaining for extend days they dont expect before they have join from it.

You have a point this is one of I think a good project that I've promoted was disappointed for the paused but realized that this is not yet the right time, so instead of deceiving members like what scam ICO are doing manipulating their sales volume, they opted to stop and refund investors.

Well a good example of such project that didn’t live up to expectations is the kwatt tokens
A lot of hypes
A lot of news flying around; but later got abandoned, delisted and now left hodlers hoping

I wont name them but I have three.

It is a risk so it aint a shame to invest with them.
It think it is normal now.
Nobody cares much anymore.

Next time though I will be really careful with where I invest my money. Looks like the scams are happening too much.
Better to avoid them.

I prefer holding coins that are still active in market, as much as possible join in their telegram community or follow their social media accounts to get updates. We should be updated to be able to know if they can keep on their promise. If not better sell them already and know that's the risk in joining ICO.

I can say too many promises. There are of course projects that look interesting. But such a hunt just does not bring breezes. I, as a god, do tons of work for projects and constantly do not receive the proper reward.
Because the fraudsters have learned to make really high-quality pictures.

I think the biggest problems with (former) icos was greed. People always expected to find the next x10000 coin and invested in things that just didn´t make sense only because they had hope to get rich with "little" investments...

the days of gambling with ICOs are over, in fact it has been over for a long time now, it has been nearly a year that they died for good. although they still hang around but it is the "walking dead" that is looking like the old ICOs that got pumped. they were even replaced by other things last of which is IEOs which are also going to die soon because they all have the same fate while being on the same path.

for now the market development is indeed quite difficult to predict. because the decline occurred long enough, and indeed only a few projects will be successful. the problem is that the successful project is very difficult to know so far.

I am sure that they are still "living" (in a telegram) and still have the community, but I don't know if their project still running or not. But I think there will be too many questions from their participants that asking about when the token will be distributed to participants, when the token will get a list on the exchanges because many of my friends always ask this to them, but they cannot find the right answer.

I've joined and invested Envion project about a year ago. They were promising a lot of things. But after a year, they didn't keep any promise yet. My biggest disappointment...

Even Envion did not pay its bounty hunters too! Such a shady project it is! Envion raised huge money from the ICO sale and it was the top 6 raised projects in that time! But look at them now, very poor trading volume, listed on some B-C grade exchanges with no proper products and therefore their roadmap and whitepaper are nothing but some words! My biggest disappointment too!
