 honestly, it might sounds stupid because we all knew that bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. All other currency pegged their trade on it. bitcoin as we all knew has a purpose. for payment. it's major purpose is for transaction. anything that has to do with payments majorly.
what if a cryptocurrency pop up from nowhere with a huge and multiple purpose other than bitcoin? is there a possibility of another currency taking over the top spot.

If someone, that cut be facebook or big bank added a stable coin with 100B coins or more,  then that stable coin would be number one on coinmarketcap, this scenario would most like happened one day. However, that would not make that new coin a trustworthy store of value.
I don't really see any coin ready to take over bitcoins as king of crypto.

BCH might be flakier than BTC, but as of this writing, BCH is growing faster than BTC, percentage-wise. Both of them are growing faster than BSV percentage-wise

We already have bitcoin for the top spot in the cryptocurrency, but I don't know if the other new crypto can taking over the position because bitcoin is too strong for them.
But the chance will always open because we know that every day, new technology will come out and will compete with the existing technology. So we don't know if someday, there is a new technology that could beat bitcoin.

I do not think that bitcoin can go lower if you look at that for 10 years, no one came close even close to the capitalization of bitcoin

Very simple reason for it.
Bitcoin is already well known in the public and still bitcoin is the main entry point in the crypto world for the most users.
In the long term, who knows, everything is possible.
