Why did you call Apollo a dubious currency?  As far as I know, this currency has been making much waves in the news lately and from what I have come to understand,  most currencies that's considered scam are the best ones in the market

John McAfee is now become the known crypto troll and nobody is taking him seriously. I think only news sites use the people like McAffe and faketoshi to make news.

Yep , I think so too . In 2017, McAfee earned very good money by working as Advisor in various projects. Projects in which he took part was guaranteed to collect soft-cap, but now the situation is opposite and people do not listen to what this person is saying.

The problem with John McAffee  that he made so many controversial statements that now we cannot
blindly trust him, we have to check first. But who you can trust in crypto,  just for yourself.

McAfee probably doesn't even own any of those coins he is promoting and that's because he is getting paid big bucks just to make a simple tweet promoting some coin. I didn't trust that guy since the beginning and it seems like now I am convinced of what he is actually doing in the crypto market.

This old guy proved to everyone that he is not going to be serious in cryptocurrency. Once I thought he was a very intelligent man, but that was a long time ago.

He is very serious about cryptocurrency. He is not here to gain some attention I believe, he has this "attention" thing from the beginning due to his McAfee Anti Virus.

Peoples started to hate him because he was excessive in shilling cryptocurrencies, also he was taking huge amount of money for his shilling, and in some cases he raised some negative impact. As an example Docademic, I heard that he said something to Hitbtc owner and the owner immediately delisted Docademic.

Anyway, he is also a candidate of next US election most probably. If he wins then cryptocurrency may have good support from the US but it is unlikely he will be elected.

I also had negative thoughts about him. Now, just trying to create some positive thoughts.

So he's back to this type of business again? Don't be amazed with the pumping tweets that he's making. I like him as a bitcoin bull but I don't like what he does for shilling altcoins that mostly are pump and dump schemes.

Well, it is all about business of making money.  Why should he shill for some project that do not give me profit, or paid him?  We do not advertise or join a campaign that do not promise us payment .  The higher the payment the better, right?  The sad thing is that, this guy lead those who followed him to bankruptcy and regret.  He know he is an icon and he should be more responsible on what he must advertise.  But sadly it is all about making money for him.

I remember that he's receiving around $105,000 for each of his tweets before so it's another controversial marketing strategy on how much he's making doing this again. He always say that he's a bitcoin enthusiast and supporter but it's going different now and mostly about his business. If that's him, the reputation he has before has already some scratch and it's up to him on how he'll mend it. He's probably the person that doesn't really listen to the people surrounding him.

Just look at the coins/tokens that he promoted in the last year, many of his predictions was off.
It will be better if we conduct our own research before buying some coins.
Never relying on someone advice just because they are a popular person.

Anyone who gets paid large sums of money just to shill a lower ranked project obviously has their own agenda whatever that may be so I'd be wary of investing into anything that is endorsed in this fashion, however, that's not to say the project might not have a unique innovation or lack potential just ensure you aren't buying into a pump and dump scheme or vaporware

Never buy any coin shilled by some one especially Mcafee who will promote any coin for money.  Research into the coin and buy it only if it is a good one.

The first red flag here is John McAfee himself. We all know that he is being paid to shill that coin so don't be surprised if he doesn't do any investigation. As long as he is paid like $100k per tweet or whatever, he will easily accept and shill for it.

Second, if that coin get's a good pump, then that's it. Just another pump-and-dump coin because there are a lot of better privacy coins in the market.

I stopped following this McAfee long times ago, but by reading this news, yesterday I visited Mcafee's twitter handle and I was shocked that still many people following his predictions and advise! Then I realize those people are nothing but noobs and they will learn tight when they will fall in the scam by hearing John! Though I don't have any idea about Apollo's red flags, this project seems good to me. But if John Mecafee supports Apollo, then sorry I have to move out from Apollo!

ever since John McAfee started talking about bitcoin and predicting its price every day on every news channel and on every social media back in 2017 he has been planning to pump shitcoins. he even started pumping them a couple of months after he gained the required popularity. so this is not news really that he is still doing the same thing!

in addition to all that he was even getting paid $100,000 for every tweet that he posted in 2017 advertising ICOs. he has lost all credibility ever since.

I don't think many people are taking his tweets seriously anymore. There was a time when i would jump into any coin that john mcafee promotes but now, he's probably just making money from his followers. Though i still think he has good vision for bitcoin but he'd probably eat his own dick come 2020.

I was actually a participant in that group and I can assure you that I have never made profit trading out of those signals , yet a lot of people said they make profit especially mcafee himself, though I don't doubt that he made profit because I believe he is going to dump all his coin on us leaving us stranded in the market and then coming back to show us how the market increased by a large number of percentage within a very short period.

Well, whatever him and many other popular image does as regards crypto pumping still favors me, what I do is never to hold most of those coins they pump for a long-term, they are not worth investing in for a long time because they only do what they do for their own personal interest which is profit and not for the future of the project itself or the utility, so I invest in them, quickly sell off to make the little gain I can have when the pumping starts manifesting, although if the means of pump is coming through their news and verbal promotion, I still have to watch carefully and be sure such pump method will have any effect on the price.
