Me too I'am not going to comply KYC. Because today is april fool's day. I think it is only part on it. And it is too personal. We need to protect our selves and specially our account, password or private keys. And I think no one will comply on this because it is day of fool. This is break for the very long year of serious transactions.

Let's hope this is a joke to the moderators of this forum on April 1. Theymos, most likely made a joke. If you open the forum for KYC, you will see that some questions are very strange, for example the blood group. If this KYC was needed, we could not write on the forum until it was completed.
I found this KYC very funny. I treat it as a joke, and I recommend that you do the same. From tomorrow, everything returns to normal.

I think you should fill out the KYC, its important that the forum knows who you are...  Grin

Remember to upload a good picture of yourself, so everyone can verify you if they want to.  And after that, you will be a trusted verified member, with a nice green line in your profile.  Shocked

Yeah, very important  Wink especially the lines stating that you need to list all your addresses and what crimes you have committed. You do this and you will be immune from red tagging by the DT members.  Grin

I was also caught in the threat. Thinking I may have to pull out because I don't really work along with the KYC.
until I checked well to confirm that it was an April fooling.Well, if one of the reasons I joined this project is because it is KYC  free and KYC was suddenly introduced. I gat no choice than to silently cut out.

I wonder about the crime reporting field. Should I only report there my financial crimes, or should I report my sexual crimes as well?

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

It's not too much, they aren't even asking for blood samples.

Wink What day is today again? Smiley

Nothing is ever too much. After completing the verification process, I've also mailed Theymos a vial of blood, as well as urine and stool samples and a USB containing a video of me stripping down to show all my birthmarks and moles.

Do I think that's good enough? No. But that should do for now.

I prioritize my privacy above this forum

And this is not because I am a criminal, but because I want to decide who has my personal details not be forced to give them

I miss the days BTC was truly a free market for everyone involved in it

April fools? Don't care, KYC is still an issue and this may soon become reality
I agree with your opinion. We have the right to keep our identity anonymous, especially in the Cryptocurrency world. But I still believe that KYC will soon be one of the mandatory requirements that everyone is required to participate in this forum.

I am already fill the form earlier but realizing that it is April today and I decided to not submit it, then read some topics to META and bitcoin discussion and found out that it is really an April fools. And I think KYC is not a problem for me unless for the gender they put that I need to choose there. Already confuse to my gender earlier today. LOL.

Nonsense - KYC is a process of collecting data to avoid misuse of services, mainly used in financial institutions. You will never need KYC verification to participate in a forum.

You know what they say about sleeping dogs?... Let''s not wake the sleeping dogs with April fools jokes like this. Yes, we are all laughing at the responses and the emotions of people who got swept up in this joke, but tomorrow it might become a reality.  Roll Eyes

We have a lot of enemies and they are just looking for ways to shut us down and jokes like this will give them ideas. I love April's Fool jokes, but this one might come back to bite us.  Tongue   <They going to have a hard time shutting all other anonymous forums down>  Roll Eyes

The forum administrators deem it fit to introduce KYC in order to know more about the forum users which to me is ideal. Almost all the forum members are scare of the new revolution initiated by forum Administrator, Theymos. Maybe they have spot out some illicit transactions among the forum members which warrant them to implement KYC in order to protect it users. For those who can't cope, then you are "fooled by April Fool."

Well, I don't want to have this KYC thing too. I know that this is just a prank this April Fool's Day but the OP is right having to make this into reality. I want to remain this forum as it is now.

I think the idea of kyc will be a good step to reduce a lot of baby accounts outhere and this will reduce a spammer and scammer also which i think a good idea. Less competitor for us right.

The funny thing is a lot of people nowadays gets easily offended by really obvious pranks just like this one in the forum. They couldn't even accept the fact that its April Fools' Day, that even if you have written fake ass info in the KYC page it will still be "accepted" by theymos as verified. They always see the negative in something and try to fight for it even if theymos didn't mean to offend anyone on his prank.

Oh and don't worry about the KYCs you are seeing right now as because most of them are requiring KYCs due to the government's order. What you need to worry about more are sites asking for KYC that don't even have a legal bakground behind their operations.
