Very soon scammers will find ways to make IEO their new source of scamming innocent people ,newbies especially please be on watch out and thread carefully ,invest only in IEOs that are launched on popular exchanges

1) very soon scammers will start building new exchanges just to lure victims
2) And through these exchanges they will start promoting Fake IEO projects just to make investors invest there hard earned cash and bang they will disappeared in thin air.
Remember that huge money are made through IEO this days and hardcap are easily met so be on the watch out ,scammers will surely do there best.I believe IEO is a effect way of investment in 2019 and so far so good ,many IEOs already double up or even triple up there IEO price per token and its a very good sign .thanks

I've been thinking about this myself ,I think the only way scammers can use IEO to scam investors is only by creating fake exchanges and promoting fake IEO projects to deceive investors ,you really have a good point friend ,since the money is huge and can be raised in seconds to minutes or few hours highest its very possible for scammers to go to that length ,there are desperate scammers everywhere

Even if the IEO launches on popular exchanges, don't be fooled immediately. I mean look at Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex and all the big guys. They all listed shitcoins at some point.

Bittrext's first IEO also failed miserably, didn't even get to launch when people found out some hanky panky and Bittrex decided it was too risky.

Do your own research, and don't invest blindly in something just because it's all hyped.

In fact, there is nothing that makes the IEO different, IEOs are better when the sale is in binance. Otherwise, in the first try it will make everyone understand what is going on.

I think the IEO trend won't last. Binance has failed to leave up to my expectation in terms of the launchpad. It shouldn't just be about getting this project listed on the exchange but rather include developmental tactics that will ensure traders on the binance platform who invest in the IEO do not end up losing their funds. In my opinion, it's not all about listing on the exchange, these project developers need to work towards achieving other milestones in terms of developing a product.

When there is any better option, there will always be scammers who will create it. I believe that investors choose big exchanges to select the best IEOs to invest. Do not choose new exchanges that not listed on Coinmarketcap.

Although doing so as suggested above is safer but not 100% secured, we have well established scam example is bitcoincash. This type of project can buy their way into any exchange just as Bitconnect did. You have to take your security into your own hands and invest in only projects you have well research on even though they were suggested to you by other members or the so called crypto experts all over YouTube and Twitter.

It is important to go for IEO on only exchanges with good reputation, personally any IEO that can't launch on binance, bittrex, kucoin, okex and other top exchange, i can't participate in such IEO.

It is hard to scam people with IEO's. Because there are a middleman and its reputation at stake. So no good ieo platform would list a scam coin. And bad ones won't take any investment.

To create an exchange is so difficult and that makes sense if investors will never try to put their money into the suspicious exchange site. But the scammer will always exist through use the different way like create fake pump and dump group and etc.

it is possible that this could happen, because they only want to get profits in an easy and fast way or instantly. therefore we as bounty hunters must remain alert and careful, carefully before deciding to join.

therefore don't just trust the new exchange. if you want to invest in the IEO, you should choose an exchange that has a good reputation such as binance. at the moment there are many projects with the exchange concept, and I think some of them are scams so once again I say, don't overly believe in their nonsense.

But the thing here is investors are not going to trust any IEO on an untrusted or new exchanges.
IEO was not started with popular exchanges like Binance, it was a borrowed idea from other exchanges.
For example Coinex had some IEO way before Binance started them but what happend to those tokens?

sooner or later scammers will definitely. I'm not surprised by this because it's their job. therefore I am not too enthusiastic about the IEO, especially when I have trouble buying.
