I don't think the sudden BTC jump was that surprising. Prices had been moving steadily upwards for a couple of months, with any dips recovered almost immediately. We were due a breakout upwards. As usual, BTC leads, and then alts follow. So both increase vs fiat, but the initial stage is alts remaining relatively static whilst BTC goes up - which is why it translates as alts red against BTC at the start.

Yes market was red at that time and every time when bitcoin goes high most of altcoins goes low in trading pair alt/BTC, i don't know why always happen but this is it, i expect to grow more bitcoin this month.
i believe that the reason for it is two things. first is the arbitrage traders who see the difference and start buying some pairs and selling it on the other pair market. for example buying ETH/USD then selling ETH/BTC and enjoying the BTC price rise. that can also explain why the altcoin dumps is not that big and right in the middle. second is the fact that traders have always been aiming to make more bitcoin not more altcoins. the main reason why altcoin market exists and is pumped every day is to help them make more bitcoin. so in the end when bitcoin rises everyone dumps their altcoins to get their bitcoins out before they lose value. |

What date is that? As far as I know yesterday the market increasw jump very high. And if you try to check again the market is already increased more and now is $5000 . This coming next few days I expect more jump value of the bitcoin and the altcoins.
Market now is all green again better to change it to that. But if people panic again it become red again if the people not take care of what aalready hitted the bitcoin.

Yeah whenever BTC Pumps alts starts bleeding, But once everything stabilize alts will follow shortly. We can expect more people to jump in BTC bandwagon and dump their alts in favor of the king Bitcoin.
like yesterday's pump event where bitcoin rose high but some altcoins only increased slightly. but after bitcoin dropped back and began to stabilize, altcoin began to crawl up on the market, and it will continue to follow the growth of bitcoin on the market. at least now the market is in good condition. |

it is green only if you look at their USD prices but that is false and misleading you should look at the real value which is in BTC not in USD. so next time when you visited coinmarketcap.com, change the settings on top from USD to BTC and you will see how they have been getting dumped. after all most exchanges have only ALTcoin/BTC markets with some ALTcoin/Tether markets with a much lower volume. and majority of traders are only trading against bitcoin so we shouldn't be even looking at anything else. |

At least major coin break up their level now especially eth and btc. I think it is not surprising to see the changes drastically as this market is full of volatility and surprises. I have a feeling that it will continue to keep improving since many platform improved since then. Like eth upgrade that clear up some flaws on the network. Plus many project has keep moving forward such as enj, and many more. Include to that the IEO success story for every big exchange.

Sorry but bitcoin now is finally on the top of 5k value. And for sure all alts now on the coinmarkecap is fine as well along with bitcoin. So the red last night is definitely a temporary adjustment of price which like what always happened when market is trying to push more. Indeed everything now is under control of green and seems the growth rate still want to create a little progress. .

Obviously they are red, Bitcoin is on the move and until it gets stabilized most of the altcoins prices in the BTC market will drop. Its the best time to accumulate some good coins in this artificial dip. once again the bitcoin price rise has led to a massive altcoin dump all over the altcoin market as they continue losing value against bitcoin and show red on the charts. interesting point is that the top coins with bigger market cap are dropping harder than the smaller coins which is probably due to the arbitrage opportunity between the ALT <> USD <> BTC which is also partly the reason for the ALT/USD small rise.
I'm actually pretty confused about what happened to traders now, when the price of bitcoin falls and doesn't rise, they complain. and even conditions were better than 1 month before, they also continued to complain that the altcoin also experienced a significant decline.I suggest them to stop complaining about market situation and never blame the market. |
