https://edition.cnn.com/2019/04/02/uk/theresa-may-brexit-statement-gbr-intl/index.html

the british islanders have pissed of entire europe and now they cant go,

why dont they just do the obvious longterm solution -> jugoslawia style slicing appart uk into EU and non EU parts.

thats exactly what these bankers wanted, instead of reforming the EU and the Banks, we have now to look at Theresa May and the Broken UK Parliament and Politicians that will keep whole europe hostage with their trash

Lol why would the UK need to follow in Yugoslavia’s footsteps?

Have you read article 50? Do you know what a customs union is? This isn’t jail or the Russian mob, countries have the right to depart if they want without “pissing off the whole of Europe” ,

As well as Europe being angry for two years they’ve also made it as difficult as possible for the UK to leave and used the international media to trash them? So who would want to stick around for that behaviour ??

it would be impossible for europeans to accept uk ever as a full member again, their unreliability is their death sentence, from a european perspective only slices of uk can be accepted and considered trustworthy members ever again.

thats indeed true

whats the point if next year there will be a "remain" brexit referendum.

Hey, what did UK expect, that EU will reward it and give it all sorts of benefits for leaving? It is only natural that EU will protect its interests. Personally, I would not grant the UK customs union. It only wants benefits of the EU but non of the obligations. I hope it doesn't happen.

The EU did not try to make it hard to leave for you, but to protect itself from UK's disruptivness.

there is only one solution to brexit crisis in uk,

building a wall through england/wales with brexiteers living on northern side and Pro EU britains on southern side, with a corridor to scottland for the pro eu britains, also scottish independence and annexation of northern ireland by the EU, the brexiteers sandwiched, will then also pay for the wall and for the costs of the EU divorce.

long live the capitalist united state of europe.

The UK are still Europeans, the vote was to exit the EU which is a customs union. Article 50 states that any country wishing to return to the customs Union can do so after 2 years of exiting. It’s EU law and already discussed and accepted. As one of the largest contributers and being a nuclear power plus our plan to become a tax haven to make ends meet , not only do the EU have to accept as stated in article 50, they would be grateful to have the UK back. The hostility received is because they don’t want the UK to leave at all.

There should not be a second referendum. You’re right there’s no point . The only thing worse than leaving is taking away power from the people and having parliament take away democracy by setting a precedent that we now overturn voting results if we don’t like what the result is.  The vote is a privilege and should be precise and executed regardless of the result with no tantrums accepted. It maintains order and consistency.

This three year long tantrum needs to stop. There are other countries in Europe that are not part of the EU and are doing just fine and have bought into the customs union. This has been a very important lesson for every country to see that this “union” which was signed is infact the equivalent of an abusive relationship where one is punished if they want to leave and become independent .

uk will be sliced appart like jugoslawia, tax havens dont work, they are in a competition with each other, and thes have a leecherous nature on their neighbours, and are therefore being treated hostile.

The EU did not try to make it hard to leave for you, but to protect itself from UK's disruptivness.

It’s not disruptive to exit a union which has clauses that give rights to exit the union. This is available to all countries and what is “mob politics” is having the EU drag a country through bad press for three years because they want to leave. You might think that’s the appropriate way to behave, well it’s not. Sure being fair and accepting the UK into the single market will be lovely. But don’t think if that option is taken away that there are no more options on the table. It’s very easy to get more business when you change your tax tariffs and become a tax haven, lots of businesses would love to take advantage of lower taxes and relocate for that purpose.  Liechenstein , Iceland , Switzerland and Norway are not in the EU and they pay into the single market. Liechtenstein is the 8th richest country in the world and have you seen how successful the Swiss are in business?

The EUs attitude is very clear now, we can see it for what it is through this experience of pettiness and threats of economic isolation. The UK will power through long term without a deal and open itself up to global trade

dream on, uk is divided its a society in which the rich scam the poor, without the EU there is nothing protecting them. after brexit uk becomes a hostile cuba that is very questionable and wants as you said, leech its neigbourhood as a "tax heaven" thats another reason to seek the slicing appart. of it, like jugoslaqia, divide et empera.

gibraltar will be soon spanish againm falklands argentinian no one in europe will protect/help you.

In any vote there’s a divide , Yugoslavia is a war torn mess, that accepted Being occupied by Germany in WW2 it would take a lot more than a referendum to end up like Yugoslavia loooooool.

Are you deluded , do you think we’re going to have British refugees running from the UK and dividing into 6 parts, shooting each other up on the news because of leaving a customs union . Get real .

oh no eu is not as divided as uk now, brexit destroyed eu opposition in europe, and created anti uk opposition in uk
in uk mps are resigning in a row the government stopped working and ran into a trust crisis.

many consider brexit the end of uk (from great britain to little england)

and thats all correct because there cant be a peaceful coexistance between EU and UK,

the problem is UK wants to leech of EU, EU seeks to integrate its environment. the british arrogance is responsible for the downfall of the once powerful throne in england. that had during its prime never relly a lot to do with "britishness" actually.

you have the broken government and the weak negotiation situation not the EU, that has a population backing it to go much more thougher on the leechers that run central bank scam society.

thank god the eastern europeans and other continental europeans a realising the fraud and scam the uk is and leaving it.

here this is from the uk news outlet:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/fall-immigration-brexit-cost-uk-finances-billions-global-futures-a8448261.html

uk is a big leecher in europe and historically was, it took advantage of eastern european labour to enrich itself, thank good they lost with brexit all their trust and are becoming yemen now

with those eastern europeans returning home their countries will get much wealthier,

brexitiers that wanted to controll immigration will end up with mass flooding of indians and africans due to trade deal agreements that they cant get with mutual benefits anymore.

Slicing a country in half does not work. You only need to look at the troubles between Ireland and Northern Ireland or Israel and Palestine to see that.  Britain don't need to be in the EU and nor do the majority want to be part of the EU.  Without Britain's contribution It falls on France and Germany to support all of the other failing countries economies. That is why the EU is so scared and doesn't want us to leave.

I actually voted to stay in the EU but if mainland europeans really have an attitude like yours towards us it is a good thing we are leaving.

uk doesnt contribute, its in a trade deficit, and you are seeking to create a parasitarian tax haven, to leech off the european neigbourhood, you will end up isolated, and like yemen and i dont really care, you started this whole hostility with wanting to leech on others. now you are wondering why everyone is turning hostile.
