Can anyone explain upcoming hardfork for bcn ? why there is a hardfork ? bcn will stay bcn or there will be a new coin ? are exchanges support that hardfork or should we remove our bcn ? any quick brief ?

We will release a blog post shortly to describe everything that users will need to know but to put it simply:

1. The hardfork is there to update the API and provide a feature called dynamic fees (you can read more about it here: https://bytecoin.org/blog/the-updated-bytecoin-development-roadmap).

2. BCN will remain and there will not be a new coin (or any new coins created)

3. All of the exchanges that already support Bytecoin are in the process of updating their software to support the hardfork. Your BCN will be safe there, in the web/mobile wallet, and the desktop wallet (provided you backup your .wallet file in advance).

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
I have read all the articles about Hard fork . Article has mentioned that after 31st August HardFork  will continue several weeks so may I consider it will run till whole September or I missed to understand something. Smiley

Basically the faster everybody updates to the newest wallet version the faster the hardfork will come into affect. It could take as little as a few days if everybody that uses the Bytecoin Desktop Wallet upgrades in a timely fashion. We are anticipating it to take a couple weeks though because not all of the users update to the newest version as soon as it is made available.

Price is showing good sign it seems there is good activity behind the scene and some people trying to push this to more high. I think it will be good recovery for this coin and we see more investment will come to this.

All the coins in the market are connected to each other. All coins fall because the market falls. it is the coins that will enter the market which will put an end to this. If the new comer has a strong support and a good staff, he gets out of the falling market and climbs up.

We have released a blog post with everything you need to know for the upcoming hardfork software release. You may check it out here: https://bytecoin.org/blog/bytecoin-hardfork-adoption-guidelines

Get the guidelines from Bytecoin team for the coming hardfork.
It certainly takes time to read all the guideline carefully.
I will let the team know if I have something helpful to contribute after reading thoroughly.

Poloniex still has wallet functions disabled, guess they're not yet onto this update. Untill then we cannot expect any magic leap forward. 90% of volume with newly created blocks could take weeks from now.

I have all my coins on partner exchange HitBTC already in preparation for upcoming hardfork. One thing I didn't understand why there is no specific date or block height for to have estimation about the time ? All I read from the last update is written after 31st of August in few weeks it will happen. Bytcoin is getting ready for next run at the same time with all the changes this upgrading will bring.

testing wallet 3.3.0
i sent 10 bcn to test.
the test took 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.

Is the "export to csv" button new?
i guess bytecoin dev team read my suggestions.
it worked fine with libreoffice calc, separating fields by semicolon.

Bytecoin have a new update, it is good news ,i think the bytecoin price reach 100 satoshi .

New updates and features those being prepared to be released in near future, can move the price. It was in May last time when price went over 100 satoshi now few other old coins have broke the trend recently. Bytecoin also can show quick spike. A 3x isn't at all but if market becomes more friendly then targets can be revisited.

It is more like a great desire to see this price. And that with good growth, it is possible to wait for the price of 100 Satoshi. Smiley

They can do it but sometimes the price wants to go in the opposite direction sometimes it wishes to set its own tune to which it twerks noisily as if theres a fucking rivalry and price is invited to attend it. I assume the price moves at random pace in random direction thus estimations of its future rate can only be done with quantum computer which is yet to come.

The newest wallet release / hardfork has brought many new features and fixes to the software but we are glad you had a positive experience. Thank you for sharing!

One of the projects that has long been on the market. I think the price will surely go up because the project is very famous and it is developing. If the developers adopt it for the market and micropayments, this will be a stunning success.

100 sats is possible but it may take a couple of months. Price chart is encouraging, it seems to be already recovering just like bitcoin. If altcoin market improves, who knows and we might see it at the end of the year.
