Yes the OP is correct about this the government if in cooperation has a huge part to play in bitcoin development and acceptability.
The government involvement would trigger a big encourage to citizens of that particular locality to get involved in cryptocurrency

How can you say that?

In our country, Bitcoin is legalized, it can be used everywhere but the thing is that only a few use it. Despite the fact that it is legalized, a few use it so I don't think the government has a huge part to play, it is still us users that play a huge role. The government might be the strong one that will let or not let people use BTC or other cryptocurrency but without us investors and users, I don't think their role is that important.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

In my opinion, the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin in a country. For example, a government announces that it will accept Bitcoin in that country, so I'm sure the development of Bitcoin in that country will be very fast!

What do you think, the Government or the community who play an important role in the development of Bitcoin?!

Do you think this will be easy for the government to regulate it? because not all officials in the government will approve at once.
Because there are some will oppose for sure, then in the end majority vote before it happen. But if ever this will approve, 100% surely their citizens will use bitcoin to their daily lives and the stand market volume for Bitcoin will also increase.

I think in the symbiosis of the government and the community, the momentum for price growth will be the highest. The government has more money than the community,so the direction vector is set by the government.

The acceptance of the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin on that country. Well, if the government declares that Bitcoin is allowed and it can be freely used as alternative mode of payment. I guess research and development will also be initiated and supported by the government. Though rules and regulations will be implemented, it will surely secure and protect the transactions being done.

Yes, I think that the government's role in the development of Bitcoin is much more. The government can play a very important role in the development of Bitcoin. The government can contribute a lot to Bitcoin's legitimate activities in a country. Also, the government can play a very important role in increasing the acceptability of Bitcoin, making it easier to use. If the government wants to keep a big deal for the development of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin's number one influencer and implementor would be the government. It holds everything about it including legalization and development of it. Once the government is involved, it would rather be so good or so bad. All things works perfectly if its on the bitcoin's side and vice versa.

There would be a major influence when it comes to investors and financial institutions investing in bitcoin if there is a clear regulation from the government regarding its legality, majority of them are not involved in the market simply because they are not sure how the government will proceed with the things in the future, government does have a role in the adoption of bitcoin but not in the development.

The role of government is certainly very useful in the development of Bitcoin, if the government legalizes Bitcoin it means opening the door for Bitcoin users in a country to be used as well as possible without any restrictions. And also this can make other countries participate in legalizing Bitcoin at the same time that the currency will be more famous.

Of course, is the government announces that they are going to accept Bitcoin in the country then people are gonna instantly connect to the cryptocurrency network. But a government does not make a blind decision. A government needs to understand but they are going to get or what they are going to lose from the decision before announcing them to the public and anything related to the monetary changes they are very serious about that. Although we have the same that many governments have already accepted Bitcoin payments in the country and many have not and yes it affects the country a lot.

First and foremost, the current status of Bitcoin will not allow the government to partner or accept Bitcoin becasue of it high volatility nature, so, hoping that the government will accept it right now isn't feasible. Probably if Bitcoin turn to be a stable coin, why not, they(the government) will happily embrace it and if they embrace it, then there will be a great shift(positively).

Decentralized coin does not actually need government's  support, maybe just the atmosphere for the coin to be traded. Most of the communities that need bitcoin/cryptocurrency dont have anything doing in the space. Am finding it more difficult to believe bitcoin can be replaced as the dominating coin. Other project are not have product and governance that bring this fight

Ok. To be honest, I believe Bitcoin should not be banned at least If a country cannot legalize it officially, It does not actually matter but whenever the Government tries to confront it. It stops to develop in that particular country. Day by day, It became too painful for the supporters and enthusiasts there to expose their knowledge and grow up. In the meantime, I believe a green signal from Government also plays an important role to develop Bitcoin in that particular area.

The government has a big impact in the development of bitcoin because if they educate their people about it many will get interest to invest in bitcoin and that is what we called mass adoption, and if the government will ban bitcoin in a country no one will invest in bitcoin and the people will scared investing on it that's why the government has a big role in the development of bitcoin.

They will be giving a big help for development of bitcoin if they will be one of them to help, because many people was depending only in government for who they will trust or not,so for me if the government will totally accept bitcoin it will be a big part of its development.

Decentralized cryptocurrency does not need the support of the state only in transactions between individuals. However, if you want to buy something for cryptocurrency in any trading enterprise, this company cannot officially conduct such a transaction without legalization of cryptocurrency by the state. Without legalization of cryptocurrency, a commercial enterprise will have problems with the tax authorities during the next report on its income and expenses. Also, without legalization of cryptocurrency, the infrastructure for using cryptocurrency as a means of payment will not develop. Therefore, the role of the state and its government in the development of cryptocurrency in any state is very large.

I think the role of governments is important because if governments ban it then the people can't use it and this stop the mass adoption, but if governments accept it and let people pay tax directly with then play an important role.

Before when bitcoin/cryptos are not yet popular , people can now already access and use it . keep in mind that there are no government involved here  but today governments are now involved because they can make bitcoin more legal and acceptable in a certain country  .

what im i trying to say is that the government role is only half or even 1/4 on the development of bitcoin/cryptos  . we dont also need to pay taxes but tax maybe subjected depending on what country you are residing  .

I think the fitting word is acceptance. Bitcoin is already developed and they just need some tweaks or improvement that will make it more suitable for ordinary consumers. If they want to work together with btc one day, then I think that will hasten those improvements and that is the huge role that the government will fill.

It has long been necessary to come to an agreement that cryptocurrencies should be given official status. Because it makes no sense to stop the process of creating new settlement systems that is already running. Yes, now few are ready to buy cryptocurrency. But people's interest is growing, needs too. If any government is ready to come to a legislative settlement of this issue, then other European countries may soon follow their example.
there are so many cool projects appearing, ready to help those who wish to master cryptocurrency investments, for example taklimakan. And this is logical, because since there is a tendency of growth in the number of people interested in cryptocurrency, then new platforms appear for this request. Such facts cannot be ignored by the government, and quite soon all countries will give cryptocurrency legal status.
It is difficult to give a certain status to cryptocurrencies, when even Bitcoin developers are unknown. Perhaps that's why they are pulling with the solution. But after Microsoft announced that they are planning to do a project that helps with the launch of blockchain projects, it is likely that Europe and the United States will support this initiative and take part in the regulatory process.
Since cryptocurrencies are decentralized, even their creators do not have full control over them. On the stock exchange, we see how easily price can be manipulated, which led to last year's Bitcoin collapse. But now there are more and more offers of security tokens that are practically liquid to securities, this should strengthen the market and open the door to establish rules that should be followed to preserve investors' guarantees.
