Veriblock IEO finish in 10 seconds, what's your take?

Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently, new IEO wave is coming. But the successful IEOs are in big exchange and this means the exchanges are the major factor and IEOs are not a big boom.

Investing in a good IEO project is really difficult in this period because everyone tends to make a high profit, making competition more intense. I think there is no other way than to buy a higher price than the IEO because I cannot compete with them. In my opinion, this will make the participants become richer than those who do not participate

I have no doubt about that. mos IEOs that already have their products or have something substantial that will give value to their coins, sold out in a very short period of time. This should be the first IEO on Bittrex, aside the one that was canceled for some reasons. I am still waiting for more, which i believe will also succeed.

IEO seems to be like ICO at the early stages, but i am skeptical.
Did the IEO really sold out to public in 10 seconds or did most of it already been bought up by internal investors and just a small portion of it actually sold to public?
This seems like also another way to convince the market into putting their money into buying "legit" IEOs that will be listed on these launchpads in the future.
Will IEO last for the long term? Or will the hype just die down in the coming few months?

Everything happened very quickly and I was very lucky to be able to participate in this project. According to Bittrex statistics, there are more than 81,000 people participating in investment but only 355 lucky people can participate in Veriblock project. The buying rate is really low, making it difficult for us to participate in major IEO projects so you should wait VBK to be listed at Upbit and Bittrex so that you can buy a better price.

Only 355 lucky people? This is not fair I think. Bittrex should make new arrangements and find a solution for more investors. What was the hard cap?

Did the IEO really sold out to public in 10 seconds or did most of it already been bought up by internal investors and just a small portion of it actually sold to public?
This seems like also another way to convince the market into putting their money into buying "legit" IEOs that will be listed on these launchpads in the future.

 355 people? You are joking? if so, they can then manipulate the coin market of the Veriblock project. If so, I would not advise others to even look in this direction.

As usual, the hype of IEOs is still on, top exchanges will be sold out in seconds like Binance, Huobi, Bitmax and Kucoin. But I doubt that this is all investors wants to buy their token, some exchanges manipulate them to keep the hype.

I dont think the product or MVP is the reason why most of IEOs are always sold out in seconds. As you can see the the projects on binance like celer keeps on dumping because it is build on hype not on tech alone.

IEOs add a little flair to the usual ICOs, it adds an additional layer of security in the sense projects selected for an IEO should be meet some stringent requirement which makes it somehow worth investing. The response so far is encouraging as the sales get completed a short time frame. The future of IEO will hold for some time until new ways of raising funds erupt.

I was waiting to buy, but it finished before i started. I suppose big investors did bought all the stock before little investors could start buying something.

This is great challenge for this process, very few interested investor usually buy into projects though we have seen smaller requested fund for relevant IEO . Investors and exchange are the highest beneficiary of IEO, they are bound to make money in the shortest time and exchange had been settled.

Reminds me of the ICOs that also got sold out very quickly in the peak of the ICO-hype. I think IEOs will follow the same trend and the interest in them will ebb away over time.

It is not up to 10 seconds at all, I think it finished within three seconds and I don't those that bought it are humans because that swiftness can only be possible through bot and seriously speaking, it is not good for the industry. If Bittrex and other exchanges truly want the IEO to be evenly distributed, they should add Captcha to their system and they should also reduce the cap to like $2000 per individual

That's because they got a good plan to make the project a success. Veriblock allows networks of other cryptocurrencies to use the Bitcoin blockchain to counter the “51% attacks”. VeriBlock is built on the Proof-Of-Proof consensus algorithm: users can upload snapshots of other blockchains to Bitcoin via the OP_RETURN function. This is a very good one and unique too.

There is manipulation in the process and Bittrex truly want to be transparent, they should use Captcha for the next IEO on their platform

Veriblock has used its own funds to develop the main net but i guess the creator needs more funds right now. It looks like people are not even aware of this project already exists from the last year and bittrex was seeing it as an opportunity to launch its IEO.

precisely! or there were pre-arranged agreements with big whales so they amass a large portion of it. of course regular buyer cant compete with them. but sooner or later, loopholes during these IEOs will be exposed. and if theres any, then their business will slowly die again just like ICOs...
tbh im tired of seeing these IEOs sold in seconds or minutes. but afterwards their price is not what we presumed to be

I have never seen or read crowdfunding that fast, it seems they already had a presale, they did it to attract more companies to fo their IEO in their platform, and if this is true then we have a new way of crowdfunding that investors and companies will surely take advantage of.

I think the IEO is currently very popular, so investors scramble to get Tokens from the IEO, so it only takes 10 seconds to spend the Token. So in my opinion this is very reasonable, because the IEO is very high potential for profit.
