[GUIDE] How to Get Your Profile Link

Since I've noticed that some newbies have no clue how to get their own profile link properly in this forum, I created this topic as guide for them. Here are the steps in getting your profile link:


1. Click Profile in your tab



2. Once you're in you're in your profile tab, you just need to click any of these links as shown below.

3. Let's assume that you click "Show the last posts of this person". After clicking it, you'll be able to see your lasts posts (shown below).

4. Highlight the link in your address bar (do not include anything after the UID number which in my case, it ends with number "4". After that, you may now copy or cut it.

Feel free to ask through these thread if you have  question/s. I hope it helps newbies in this forum who are still unable to get their own profile link.

Step 3 can be different especially if the account hasn't posted yet. No activity or 0 activity points, no post or 0 post count then you won't be able to click any of your post unless you post for the first time. The previous reply is right that you are posting a topic which everyone already know, AFAIR it's been discussed already and many forum users explained how to get the profile link the same as your guide or follow step 1, step 2 then step 3 click the Account Related Settings or Forum Profile Information then you can see your profile link in the address bar same as the image provided by the op.
Here's an example:
Account Related Settings:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1726595;sa=account
Forum Profile Information
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1726595;sa=forumProfile
When you copy the profile link don't include the ;sa=account and ;sa=forumProfile.

I don't think that the topic is necessary at all.
The reason is the forum has already had its official guide about this.

The official guide obviously contains more details than the topic, so I think that forum users should stick with that one.
