One of the limitations to become great in life is FEAR. You cannot succeed investing in crypto through fear, because it will lead you into making decisions without giving it the proper thought.
Every evidence or reason for doing anything in FEAR, is always false, which at the moment might appear real. It is later you would start thinking, you should not have done it.
COURAGE will make you see good reasons despite all odds or circumstances surrounding that situation.

So, whether you are a trader, an investor or whatever you might be doing in the crypto space, you would need courage in making some decisions, which although might not seem favourable at the initial stage, but will benefit you greatly in the long run.

NB: Courage only comes from what you already know, which can emanate from the time you have devoted for quality research and proper learning.

That's right. Sometimes people feel scared when they see the coins they have falling in price so they will make decisions spontaneously without thinking about it first and sometimes it makes someone regret a few days later. So, it is indeed brave in making decisions needed but still needs a reason that you think is to make a decision and do not make a decision when you are confused, think about what you do and then make a decision that you think is right to do.

It's always been " invest what you can afford to lose" it pays to be courageous sometimes but it is going to be so costly and you could lose everything because of the market volatility, even experts are losing money, that is why it's important to invest what you can afford to lose, do not gamble your savings away.

I think in the context "courageous" the poster meant being strong in mind to withstand any form of disappointment or pressure crypto might bring not necessarily being over smart, which is the meaning I understand from your reply.

I would say that courage plays a big role in almost all areas of our lives, but in space without any safety net, it is almost a necessity. That's why I consider it as a hobby than something more serious. As I don't have to risk a lot (just my time which I would waste in a different way anyway ), it is not connected with so much risk (investors risk way more and I admire that in a very specific way). Making a step towards something unknown is crazy, but where the world would be without people willing to bet their lives on futuristic technologies...

Lack of knowledge is the beginning of fear and courage is the emotional tool needed to take risks. But sometimes courage without  knowledge is no better than fear. Courage and belief, if you know the potential of cryptocurrencies you will never think of negative thoughts about it. You don't let yourself be affected by FUDs, bad news and other negative thoughts for the market. You simply ignore them and just think on how big it can grow within a certain period of time that you are imagining on your mind. Have we ever thought that by 2017 bitcoin can reach $20,000? no. Most of the talks are just around $10,000 or so but look what happened. Same goes if you are courageous and know what you do.

Courage alone is not enough to take you to the promise land in cryptocurrency. You also need to pray hard and hope for luck too. The most successful crypto investors might owe their success to luck too.

Courage has to be backed by research and knowledge.  Fear is not a good adviser, this is why you should invest only what you are comfortable with to even lose it in worse case scenario. If you cannot sleep because of your investment, my advice is take it back and invest less.

In the cryptospace courage is a must, here this courage should get accompanied with the learning and knowledge gain about the moving market. Just on having courage and spending with a high level of confidence is not going to benefit the user at any instance.

If we don't have the courage in life to stand on our own and make our decisions we must not be in crypto because some people tend to be affected of negative news then will even sell at loss and its a very wrong decision.
