Get ready for lots of negative articles on bitcoin

Now that the bottom is done and the bull market is back, get ready for lots of people to come out and tell people not to buy it.

I already had two articles pop up in my feed saying how people shouldn't buy bitcoin and how it isn't a good investment and how it will just keep going down. I guess the nocoiners feel the need to come out and speak against it now that the market is once again proving them wrong. It's gonna be a rough couple of years for these people haha!

I'm personally looking forward to seeing my coworker's reaction from here on out. Every couple of days he'll talk about how stupid cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general is, and make some joke about me buying bitcoin. I wonder if it will only intensify during this long bull run (doubling down on dumb) or if he'll just stop talking about it haha.

I have seen it on twitter regarding those kinds of articles. I Googled one of it and what a fantastic prediction but earlier than expected.

I can't find the one that said that it was an independent buyer that made Bitcoin up to $5000. It was 100 millions of dollars, and that person/company made that. I'm not sure if it's true but what the heck.

I like to see lots of negative articles about BTC as that makes me more confident that the bull run is already here.

And there I was expecting for a correction then suddenly people got fooled by an April Fools joke! Boom $5k.
I'm pretty sure it's because of that joke, otherwise, it's a well-timed Pump.

The opposite can be true too, I have already seen some fake news articles that were positive for Bitcoin and crypto. Seems like crypto journalism is just a tool for market manipulators, both bears and bulls, so anyone who is experienced and smart should know to be very skeptical about crypto media, and maybe even take them as reverse signal (buy when there's a lot of FUD, sell when the media are bullish).

I really don't think people are that stupid(I hope I'm right). Just a huge coincidence in my opinion. Because if the pump was because of the prank, I assume the prices would've gone back down now.

I'm really not sure the bottom's gone. Yes, it would take a LOT at this point for BTC to slip down 40% to plunge new depths but I don't know, we saw how it could do 20% in a day, if we do get to 4k, it's just 25% away.

I actually think there's still a lot more positive headlines than negative, but maybe I'm seeing the feeds from pro-Bitcoin networks. The negative domination I thought would happen still hasn't.

in november 2014, people were really bullish like now. there were rumors about paypal acceptance and we saw a >40% run in just over a week's time. not only that, but it was the first weekly higher high on the chart, just like now. then fairly quickly, we dropped 67% to the lowest lows seen during the entire bear market ($150s). so you never know with bitcoin!

At the rate fees are rising, I'm beginning to expect another political FUD campaign around fees. I wonder if it's a coincidence that Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin both spiked up hard against BTC, even as many other altcoins appeared sluggish.

It's not a good idea to take some things for granted, we still can not say with security that something has ended or something has started. Price of bitcoin was close to 3000$ and for months under 4000$, it was a wise time to invest then, not now. Problem with people who want quick profit is that they always wait to price start to go up, but very often fell into bull trap.

My advice regarding buying cryptocurrency, it's not smart to share such information with your work colleagues / acquaintances, from joke to target can only be one small step.

No problem with that, I don't listen to them, but I don't know with the others. As long as the price can be like this, it will make me can feel calm, and I can wait for longer. But I guess that news won't stop people from not invest in bitcoin since people learn many things from the last year. And if they don't want to miss the chance, then they need to hurry to buy bitcoin before the price will rise too high and they cannot buy bitcoin anymore.

every time that bitcoin price becomes stable (the $3k range) there are certain idiots who start waiting for more drops to lower prices (like $1000) and because of the FUD they even believe in that nonsense themselves too. so they never buy when they should buy and when the price rises (now it is $2000 above the price they could have bought!!!) they get buthurt and instead of thinking about how they can right their wrongs, they start lashing out and spread more FUD online and that only makes them fall farther behind.

That is really going to happen as it happens early 2017. Many articles and posting will flood the internet and the ideal  is to create FOMO and FUD in other to manipulate investors mind and judgement.  It is truth that we are going to see this but the market is going to move the way it desires.

FUD is always there, bull or bear market, whatever weather, it's always there. Though I agree that it intensifies during a bull run because people just can't believe that such an asset is capable of performing so well even after the hurdles and the countless crashes it had.

Again FUD is anywhere, and they want people to sell their bitcoin and this who spread this news either want to buy bitcoin for low price or they want that bitcoin die, i really wonder how much money they get to spread this negative news.
